Thanks! That's the look I was going for.

Since I just oearned aboutthe discovery of Brasilotitan in the Adamantina formation, I'll replace Maxakalisaurus with them.

Balaur

Also, I think you just noticed for episode three that there is not a single dinosaur in it. ;)

Awesome picture, can't wait to see your Cryolophosaurus!

Thanks! I have a little more or less interesting interpretation of Cryolophosaurus. ;)

Also, I think that I'll add a spin off to this series. It will be like Chased by Dinosaurs (wait, wait) but there will be no humans. It is only similar to Chased by Dinosaurs in that is has two episodes, both set in the Cretaceous, and are each half an hour long. Just to let you know, the spin-off will include a Pachyrhinosaurus episode, showing a natural history documentary version of the children Walking with Dinosaurs film, (which I still will see, despite the disappointments). No villanizing Gorgosaurus that stuff. So, here are the following series that will be coming with Age of Reptiles.

Spin-offs -
The Greatest Migrations: Age of Reptiles Special (With Pachyrhinosaurus)
SOme sort of Sea Monster like series without people

Sequels -
Age of Mammals

Prequels -
Age of Conquering (the Paleozoic)

So, this seems like another Walking with... Series, I was planning it to be like that. Woo hoo! ;)

I'm just happy today. :)

Also, Yutyrannus, after your done with your series, will you be doing sequels, prequels or spin-offs? Is so then I'll be excited.

I may do a prequel and a single half-hour spin-off. Can't wait for Age of Conquering!

So, in light of Age of Reptiles, I actually got a little bored of it and wanted to work a little on Age of Mammals. So, instead of making a new thread, I'll keep this thread to talk about the sequele to that. Like in Walking with Beasts, there is not an episode set in the Paleocene, but I can save that for a spin-off. So here it is, without the episode titles, just the formations and any synopsis I come up with it later on. Well, here we go...

#1 - Land of the Whales - This programme follows the mammals conquering an area that was left as a void after the great extinction: the water. This programme follows Pakicetus, Kutchicetus, and Ambulocetus. They, are the very first whales.

#2 - Lost Antarctica - This programme follows the life of a Anthropornis, as she attempts to raise her chick with her mate and protect them from the most dangerous Antarctic hazards: Dasornis, the bird with a 6 meter wingspan.

#3 - Haughton Formation - In this programme, we follow one of the earliest seals, Puijilia darwini, through an entire year, facing rival seals, and the harsh winters.

#4 - Ashfall Fossil Beds - In this episode, we follow a Barboroufelis, a sabre-toothed mammal, but not a cat, as he lives life, right before a massive volcanic eruption ruins everything.

#5 - Cradle of Humankind - Humans are unique among the animal kingdom. How we got here is the most extra ordinary of all the evolutionary stories. This episode follows two ape-men, Homo habilis, and Paranthropos boisei, through a year, to see which ape man will lead to us, and to avoid the most dangerous predators of all-time; the cats.

#6 - Ice Age Europe - This episode follows two of the most intimidating animals of the Ice Age: the a female cave bear that tries to care for her young and protect him and herself from the other intimidating animal of the Ice Age: the cave lion. And the winter has become so severe, that the cave lion is not just hunting the cubs, but the bear itself, leading to a clash of titans.

I actually have a harder time deciding which locations I wanted to depict than Age of Reptiles, because there are so many formations that have never been seen before, so I may cut out some good ones unfortunentaly...

Balaur

I am actually getting really freaked out when I researched what I think I will portray in the last episode. So, I didn't want to do Pleistocene Arizona, as cool as that would be, because I can't make a good story of it. I didn't want to repeat Walking with Beasts again. I wanted something that would totally come out of nowhere. So, I then thought about dwarf elephants. I could do an entire episode on Wrangle Island, but that's in the Holocene. I need something in the Pleistocene. So, then I learned (again) about dwarf Stegodon, on the island of Flores. I was really surprised about just how small they where. Now, I began to research about what other animals lived with Stegodon on the island of Flores. I found out about the fracken huge rats there, and the komodo dragons. Then, it happened. You know what else existed on the island of Flores? That's right; Homo floresiensis, the Hobbit. The tiny little people. I had no idea just how small they where until I began to research. They are only 1 meter high. 1 meter, 3 feet. I got really freaked out about just how small they where, and they we shared the planet with these tiny people only a few thousand years ago! So, now, I have the last episode set on Flores, with the main animals being Homo floresiensis, and featuring the giant rats, the Stegodon, and the dragons.

Thanks! But its a Pissarrachampsa. Baurusuchus will come soon, trust me, very soon. ;)

Can't wait to  see more pictures from your series! Also, did you find out about the 2014 safaris yet? No pictures so far, but the have been revealed to release Pachyrhinosaurus, Suchomimus, and Monolophosaurus and they will likely release at least one other figure. Here is what Everything Dinosaur says about the new figures:

"Update on Safari Ltd, this company intends to add a number of prehistoric animal models in 2014, pictures are still under an embargo so we at Everything Dinosaur can't show them yet, but we have seen three new additions to the Wild Safari Dinos & Prehistoric Life series, firstly there is an excellent Pachyrhinosaurus coloured tan/light brown with excellent details.  In addition, at least two Theropods are coming out in 2014, there will an updated and much improved Suchomimus model, beautifully painted, in a typical fishing pose, slightly reminiscent of the Carnegie Baryonyx but in this new Suchomimus, the head will not be raised up.  The Suchomimus models we have seen were largely painted a deep blue and resemble typical Spinosaurid posture.  The other new model for 2014 that we know about is Monolophosaurus.  The tail is not quite as long as the Dilophosaurus in the Wild Safari Dinos range, it is well proportioned and the crest on the top of the snout is a muted red colour.  Lots of detail to admire on this model also.  More details will be available soon."

For the Pachyrhinosaurus, you should have the males able to flush their frills with color, I will be editing my Kosmoceratops picture to show that ability :). Also, will your Pachyrhinosaurus have tail quills?

The Pachyrhinosaurus colouring and build will be inspired by the Pachy's in the WWD 3D movie, and I will have them flush their frills.

My Pachyrhinosaurus will not have tail quills, as I don't think that all ceratopsians had them.

No, I didn't know abotu Safari's releases next year, so thanks!  :)
