Great repaints! I especially like the Dracorex and Gastornis.

Nice work bud!

Thanks, guys! I only wish I had more time for these things.

For some reason some of the images are showing up like small thumbnails but they aren't clickable, like my Gastornis and the Aaron Doyle Psittacosaurus. Others are a mix of big and small. Just me?

That's a little disconcerting! They look alright on my end. I wonder if anyone else is seeing such things? I am using a new image host, because Facebook changes its internal links regularly and I dislike having to maintain them.

I have it with the images in your first post, the rest seems to be fine here.

I've gone through the thread and uploaded the links - hopefully all is working now! Except for the images from the first post; I'm afraid those are lost to time.

Yes, that worked!

Oh just checked the first post and yes those are missing.

I might have those backed up someplace, but it'd take some searching. For now, I don't mind leaving them out, they weren't particularly good.

Well, this one's not a dinosaur, but definitely a figure that needed repainting! I got it for a friend's Christmas gift, but decided the factory paint was just too ugly to give. So, here's Goldar!

And here's what it looked like originally. The biggest issue is the unpainted teeth!

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

nice repaints!

Thanks, guys! I'll get back to painting dinosaurs instead of space-gryphons soon enough  :)

Whoah, suddenly remembered the existence of this thread. I do have some newer repaints and customs!

I modified my Safari Carcharodontosaurus in 2017, just tried to sharpen up the teeth and claws a little in addition to the repaint.

And just today, I finished my work on the Safari Yutyrannus! I decided to try and add "lips" to this one, and I'm pretty happy with the results overall:

I have some other repaints and customs I haven't gotten around to photographing, too; the Safari Dakosaurus and Triceratops, and the CollectA Dimetrodon.

avatar_Patrx @Patrx The yutyrannus of Safari has been great for you, that repainting is very realistic. By the way, how have you added lips and how have you been able to eliminate the teeth of that figure? Totally cool figure.

Patrx

Thanks, Shonisaurus! I cut the teeth with a craft blade and used a small amount of two-part epoxy putty to make the lips. I used the grip of the craft blade to imprint some detail into the putty, like a texture stamp.

Jose S.M.

Those are great repaints! I like the colors on the Yutyrannus, looks like a big bed of prey or something like that.
