A new figure for the unique species list... A Venatosaurus rex (King Kong bottle top)

Actually a Venatosaurus was also released in the King Kong toyline by Playmates.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Series A Simba predators. Great figures, awful photography.

Megalosaurus

Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

Silvanusaurus

I love that Gwangi figure, I'm very eager to get hold of a Gwangi in some form myself, I think it's my favorite Harryhausen monster, and a lovely retro dino design.

Well worth the investment.

A few more niceties from far away shores..... Thanks to a member on here who remains anonymous

Three vintage Kaiyodo Rex chase figures.

Kaiyodo Am-pm seismosaurus.

Study Room Apatosaurus, beautiful rendition.

Usual poor photography consistently achieved through lack of talent and use of camera phone. Thanks for looking. More coming soon. Having a bit of re-invigoration with collecting after a lull.

Not necessarily hanging around too long but an interesting and beautifully understated Tsintosaurus from Basel

Lovely figures, dire film arrived today. Bigger than I anticipated.

UK

Just Unboxed the Jurassic world figures momentarily. Very pleased with their detail and poise. Substantial and nicely detailed. The conundrum is do I watch the film again or just leave it in the box?

Invicta Hunter

Nice JW figures Steve.
I think those two are definitely some of the best merchandise released for the film.

Cheers Jim.

Going to rebuild my Inpro collection. Started with the little Saltoposuchus, funny little fellow.

UK

Gradually regaining the bug, but it's remains rarities, curiosities and monstrosities only still.

So to kick off recent arrivals....

Something old something new

Old timer on its own

Brothers under the sun

Some classically beautiful and anatomically correct.... Whitepost style

UK

Decided to bring back a dear friend from my childhood. Quirky and fantastically inaccurate.

Something more modern.

I had a bit of fun creating a display with a box two lovely little bottles of Madeira wine came in. It works quite well.

So I enjoyed the contents and am now enjoying the contents  :D 8)

Got this beautiful vintage 1974 Shekels Carnegie chalk painted rendition of a 1940's Brontosaurus in transit. Lovely rarity, just up my street.

Your recent acquisitions are lovely and highly interesting to me! Especially the figures my questions refer to:

1. Where did you get the Basel Tsintaosaurus? Directly from Mrs. Müller from the Museum?
2. These Whitepost Dinosaurs, are they originals? How can one tell?
3. Inpro Saltoposuchus, whoa! It´s said to be rare, congrats? How come you
4. How big is that cool 1974 Shekels Carnegie sauropod?

1) I got them from the museum a while back, I will need to find the name of the individual.
2) The Whiteposts are originals, the plastic has that aged feel. I don't think they are high on the list of bootleggers, being that they are old and not really in vogue with the modern day child.
3) The little Salto is rare, both because its the runt of the Inpro little and I think it was a special issued by Chivers?? as part of their advertising campaign. I spotted him nestling in a job lot of chinasaurs and other nasties, a small plaintiff figure amongst some design freaks.
4) I am not sure yet regarding the Shekels figure, when it arrives I will update my thread.

Thanks for you interest.

Had some more fun with the makeshift display cabinet (Madeira wine wooden case).

How many of the figures and manufacturers can you name.....
