Who made that Iguanodon? It looks like an interesting figure.

Wonderful collection some great pieces from my childhood!

:D Congratulations for finding that retro Iguanodon! A rare figure.
Was it Brett or did you find it somewhere else?

It's a metal figure exclusively made for the National Museum of Nature and Science, Tokyo.
It has been out of production for a while now.

I found it and Brett worked his magic for me. I recalled seeing a photo of it in your amazing collection helge.

It's smaller than I envisaged but a lovely piece.

I hadn't visited this thread for a while, so delighted to see that you have a place to display your models at long last! Thanks for sharing your photos with us and glad to see the Timpo Rex we traded many moons ago, proudly on show with his band of brothers. I also love all the non-prehistoric model humans etc scattered around  your collection - I like to do this too and currently have the cast of Cluedo lurking on various shelves! Hope the loft-cave goes from strength to strength.

Pennies have been tight this year. But a few vintage additions to share.

Timpo brontosaurus and incredibly rare 1990s painted triceratops

Some bling for you, gold painted Marx pot belly Rex and brontosaurus

Some Nuremberg 1960s painted marx figures

My small tip shelf, rarities only

My Timpo including all original painted versions

My small display shelf in the loft

Got some amazing items coming soon so hope to update soon.

In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Thank you both. You're right those Marx figures really are quite something. Joe DeMarco commissioned a jeweller to coat these in gold paint, a good job well done.

So here is today's delivery, I'm feeling blessed with what's coming my way in the next few weeks / months....

Bullyland delights.

Two variants

Something special with these two

And then two incredible flats

More soon I hope.

Very interesting there are two so distinct Arizonasauruses. I always assumed it was the screen resolution or lighting. Now I'll have to figure out which one I have and where I can get the other!

Good luck bluekrono with the hunt. In the meantime, here are my remaining bullyland collection. I had all the prehistoric mammals but they have since departed for the grand old US of A.

A nonsense scene with a mastodonsaurus and a wonderful favorite georama.

That's a great scene!

Thank you. The georama is spectacular but a devil to get to the UK.

Why thank you Libraraptor, the iguanodon came from your homeland which has a rich heritage for flat metal figures. And thank you for your comment on the collection, whilst I only have a small fraction remaining, it's full of rarities and curious. I've been fortunate to have owned an amazing array of figures and certainly enjoyed the hunt and the satisfaction of helping collecting friends acquire their desires too.

Picking up a package tomorrow, the anticipation is great. Could be a long awaited painting commission or a pair of play vision and battat rarities. Ever way, it's going to be a real treat for me. Soon this little bubble of activity will settle back to inactivity.....

What do you mean by that? The typical waves  of more and less activity?  I have them, too.

I mean that my finances will dictate that I simply enjoy viewing others collections grow until I'm tempted to break the bank again.

Anyhow, this result of my jaunt to the post office... A beautiful pair

Thank you DC

My two large PVs together. What a pair of beauties..
