Very intersting collection :)

What are those two plants in the last pics, the bare trunk and the palm like tree?
And also, what are those "two dimensional" retro like figures? Are they metal/tin,... they look really nice.

Thank you....

The metal tin figures are from here, the series as a whole is incredible.

And the shrubbery is from Favorite curtesy of Invicta Hunter.

:)  Are the painted Marx figures made of a different type of plastic?

They are far more brittle, and are a white plastic under the paint.

The Rhamphorhynchus is a Dinoland prototype? Incredible piece!

Thanks for your reply, UK, can't find those I ment though, maybe just a misunderstanding... I ment those plane "dinosaur" figures, the Ceratosaurus, Edaphosaurus/Dimetrodon and such,.. or are those genuinely vintage?

That plants are really nice, a shame so less companies bother to produce some.

CityRaptor

Those are vintage. They are Brumm figures made in the 60 and 70s according to Dinosauriana.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Lanthanotus

Thanks for that info.... they look really nice and well painted.

Whilst the Brumms are a magnificent set, I'm sorry to say these are from a different series as yet not identified by Joe Demarco in his excellent book. I've owned the considerable set of Brumms in the past they are heavier than these. In addition Brumms are less cartoonistic too.

A friend is on the case to find out the creator of these beauties but I can confirm at least their origin is from your homeland of Germany.

There is another rare German figure in their too, the Bullyland Caveman.

Grabbed these vintage rubber miniature figures from Japan. A truly unique little set.

Anyone able to help with identification?

Saturdays come round far too fast for my liking. So change over day....

These Saturdays are coming round far too quickly. This week's includes a number of obscure vintage Japanese sets together with kaiyodo dinotales jurassic park series.

Any clues to the makers of the vintage sets would be most welcome.

What's the story on the gold Marx T-rex and Brontosaurus?  Are they painted?

They are painted. They originally came from the collection of Joe DeMarco... a commission I believe? I purchased them from him, and traded them to UK a while back.

Joe told me he commissioned a local company  to apply the gold paint. Very well done and quite striking.

Thank you.

The dead figure is Godzilla but I can't remember the manufacturer.

CityRaptor

Would be when he was still a normal Godzillasaurus. Manufacturer is Iwakura. I know it from my Kaiju collecting days, although I never had that figure.

Yet another Saturday has raced around. This week's display, a little cramped on top.

Changed my mind, the diplodocus pair were too big and not quite gelling.

So how about this?
