Hey there folks,

so here is the first dinosaur reconstruction I built in super sculpey and super sculpey firm. Sadly, as you can see, she broke while cooling down after baking and my last attempt to fix the cracks didn't quite work. I'll try to patch her up today with some of the 2-part-epoxy putty that I bought for my Pachyrhinosaurus casts.

She is in 1:18 scale.

Greetings,
Fabrizio

Her feet are beautifully sculpted Fabrizio! I also have to say I love the poses you use in all your art, but so far of what I've seen on here, this is my favorite; I love the hesitant step she seems to be taking.
You're not allowed to call them dinosaurs any more," said Yo-less. "It's speciesist. You have to call them pre-petroleum persons. -Terry Pratchett

Pachyrhinosaurus

Great model, again. It seems to have a looseness to it, as though it were an actual animal.

That crack could be a scar from some battle. Looks absolutely convincing! A brilliant sculpt!

Thanks! I still have her standing around, I might go about painting her at some point, if I get the time for it. :) Still like the sculpt.

In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

I agree with Pachyrhinosaurus. It has a really nice flow to it as if it were really moving. Very nice job!

i love this sculpture, but i have a question. are you sure that the tail can bend like that? i could of sworn that large ornithopods such as this had a rather large concentration of ossified tendons, making their tails virtually stiff.

You are quite right, back when I did this sculpture, I barely knew anything about ornithopods and just went for aninteresting look. ;)
