Thanks for the heads up about this set,Takama.Dr. Admin isn't the only one who'll go nuts over it! :)
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

The Marine Reptiles set is great news :).
But we shouldn't have too many threads about the same issue.

Haven't commented on this in the other thread: So, following Fanged and Horned, they go Marine. Throught they would do more Dinosaurs before doing that.  They are also breaking tradition otherwise, with the special color and skeletal Versions being split between Plesiosaurus and Pliosaurus, as opposed to both being the same species. Indeed this set also lacks the skull and not all species are directly related, with two Plesiosauria, one Ichthyosaur and one Turtle. ( The skeleton also seems to lack a skelton version of the diver, coming with a normal one instead ) Not complaining, just pointing out.

Anyone got an idea what the Ichthyosaurus comes with? Looks like the bust of a woman..
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

So, anyone know when this one will be available? This is one awesome little set I don't feel like passing on. :)

sauroid

very cool, i especially love the Archelon. i just wish instead of a color variant of the Plesiosaur, they should have just made a different marine reptile.

The color variant is one of the only traditions they did not break, although it got changed a bit. Both, the Tyrannosaur and Ceratopsian set had it.  Be glad that this set is not dominated by a single animal like the other ones were.

Megalosaurus

For some reason I'm wasn't interested in the ceratopsians nor the tyranosaurids sets, but I'm interested in this one.
I prefer that they change the color variant and the skeleton for two diferent species, but we know it will not happen.

Where can we buy the set when it became available?

It does look that is exactly what it is. Wonder why though ?  First thought is scale, it's a small species so the diver figure would be as big or bigger than the Icthyosaur. ? If you look closer the Icthyosaur has a baby with it or is giving birth.  The bust may have something on it's chest..possibly an infant as well ?

eBay would be a safe bet for most people. Jauce is also an option, but with the added fees I'm not sure it would be cheaper.

Clawmark toys is also a good bet, that's where I got my entire collection of Kaiyodo figures.

When Rakuten has them the prices are generally better--no added fees.
