Mr. Challenger

Hello guys!
These are my latest repainted figures.

This is the infamous Safari Miragaia knock-off. Where I live is impossible to find original Safari figures nowadays, but sometimes you can find these knock-off figures on chinese bazaars. I think that they are so good for repaints, and they are so cheap.

This JP3 pteranodon don´t need presentation. I repaired the "broken" wings and I repainted it.

This Pachycephalosaurus is a chinasaur, but I love the head. The original was totally orange.

And these tiny models was found on a flea market. I think they looks cute now, but the original paint job was...a little disaster. I forgot to take "before and after" pictures of them, sorry.

DinoLord

Great repaints, especially on the Miragaia.

Good work. I like the smoothness and how well the colours blend together. It looks very natural.

One thing though: could you possibly resize your photos? My browser does automatically resize them but it takes several seconds to do so and it lags a bit. Thank you :)

DinoToyForum

Great work!

I agree that it would be helpful if you could reduce the size of the images O:-)

Nebuloid

Nice subtle repaints. That Miragaia actually looks presentable now !

I reduced the size of the images, sorry for the inconveniences.

Really amazing repaints! I love how you can make even a chinasaur look like a much better quality piece just through a good application of paint!

Arul

Wow  :o companies quality  :))

Tyto_Theropod

You have some serious talent there! I especially like the Miragaia, and the little trike is just too cute! :3

New repainted figure! This Carnegie maiasaura with nest never was my favorite, but I think that looks more atractive now, and she preserves her vintage beauty ^-^

postsaurischian

:) Very nice repaints, Mr. Challenger!

I like that the colours of the Maiasaura are orientated towards the original.
I think it's one of the best figures of Carnegie's first wave from the late 80s.

Jetoar

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

It's crazy how much better it looks ???

Tyto_Theropod

That looks so much better! I'd definitely buy that if it was available commercially. Reminds me of how they always looked in the books I had as a kid.  ^-^

I might give it a think, but probably not. I don't really buy retro stuff - I save that for the 'real' collectors. ;)

Here comes the demon! I repainted the small Schleich carnotaurus with the Papo colours and I think that this guy looks really good now. Maybe not the most accurate model, but the sculpt is gorgeous in my opinion.

thelordsgym

Those are very well done! I especially like the Carnotaurus....majorly improved over the original blue paint scheme  ;D
