Plesiosaurus looks really nice  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Thank you. I'm working on the neck now.

Also foaming the Stego head:

Woah too cool! Looking forward to seeing that Stego
If the sculptor has nothing but science his hands will have no art.

At this point you can just change the of the park to AWESOMELAND!
Really loving tat Plesiosaurus! And that Edmontosaurus is going to be the best ever!
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Might be awhile..though I should have the head coated first..maybe by the end of the month.

We really need more donations. The Apato took around a 1,000.00 to build and we've only received about half that.  I need about 800.00 for our marine reptile exhibit and we're still recouping from the Apato. The Stego might have to wait a bit..at least until donations pick up.

It IS a ride - a trip back in time!

The neck looks good! Maybe Dr. Admin could chime in with some ideas.
Seeing all these pictures makes me wonder: how many projects are you doing at one time? Apatos, Mosasaurus, Plesiosaurus, Nothosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Stegosaurus, Aquilops w/ Brandem; you evidently like keeping yourself busy.

Reminds me of a conversation in the Jurassic Park novel where Gennaro is surprised when Hammond tells they have cloned 238 animals of 15 species, far surpassing the expected 12 animals. I can see Blade giggling like Hammond at the shocked expression. I sure hope Blade's fences don't fail...

I think a Yutyrannus for your park would be awesome  :)

Oh, my gosh. You just read my mind. I was just about to post that, but I went away for maybe 20 seconds, and then BAM! you posted it already. ;)

Another dinosaur I thought of, though, was a Sauropelta. Have you done any ankylosaurs or nodosaurs before?
like a bantha!

He has been guiding me thus far, very grateful for his help! :)
Seems that way doesn't it? lol  Either you get busy living or you get busy dying right? lol That's about all the prehistoric creatures we're working on now ( juvenile Apatos) each one is at a different step in the process..some i can work on indoors others are strictly outdoors..so this way there is no where i can just sit and do nothing.  Even here at the comp i'm working on advertising, birthday requests, facebook and website management, ect..never a dull moment.. i just need more staff willing to work for peanuts...lol

You sure your not a mind reader? We must be on the same wavelength. I had the same thought whenever I'm asked how many we have and i get to tell them..lol

Our fences only fail on schedule.. thus far. ;)

Yutyrannus briefly crossed my mind til I thought of all those lovely feathers..those time consuming, finger numbing, paint shedding, leaf holding, blasted, awful, lovely feathers. Actually I may be doing a Deinonychus and a Anzu/Oviraptor as our next feathered creatures..just have to make up my mind. I also have a therizinosaur on there too..probably Nothronychus.

Yeah we have a sub-adult Ankylosaurus so far.

If I was to do another it would probably be Sauropelta or Edmontia something different looking..as far as Ankylosaurs go.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Foam complete on to carving!

Plesiosaurus flipper testing..I think the forward one needs to move up a tiny bit?

fabricious

Good progress, so far! If I may be so curious: What's the nice predator head in the background (on the Stegosaurus head picture)?

triceratops83

After the foam stage do you file away the foam or add more material to it?

Depends, I deal in unpredictable materials, heh  Usually it's all about removing but sometimes I have to add to bulk up an area that the foam didn't expand the way it should.

I just wanted to throw this out there.

Didn't Dr Admin say that Plesiosaurs have Tail Flukes now?

It may be possible, I didn't see it on any of the info he provided me with though. Perhaps there is just no evidence for it, or very little?
