The Compsognathus looks great! You should stick it next to a cat's scratching post - it wouldn't look out of place.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Little Al our juvenile Allosaurus all painted up to match his daddy

Archinto

Wow he came out so awesome! I really like the detailing on the head. I can see more constructions going on in the background. I like how you approach it! Looks like the models are not too costly to make for what they are!

Juvenile Allosaurus is really beautiful  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

thank you, it's about 2/3rds my work ( eye area/surrounding scales, tongue, misc scales and teeth ) and the rest are thanks to Hector Emmanuel Munive. I'd love to be able to afford to cover the entire body with scales like the head has though. You can the Masiakasaurus getting coated with sealer back there.  My buddy is adding " skin" to the Spino arms as well in that one shot. We have many stages with one project in a certain stage you don't get bogged down waiting for something to be ready.   Not too bad, the Masiakasaurus is about 50.00 or so in materials. In labor..well that's something else again!

Kinda anxious to see it myself!  Been done in my head for months!

Blade-of-the-Moon

Spinosaurs head just about ready to be " skinned".

Psittacosaurus I've been working on for the Park here.  I'm about ready to clear coat him, just not sure if I want to add the darker wash on the legs to the entire pieces or not.

Dinomike

Wow! That Psittacosaurus is an absolutely stunning piece of art! It looks real! Great work! And of course I'm super excited about the Spino - will it be the full creature or a bust?

Thanks bud!  I can't take all the credit, the sculpt did a lot of the work, very clean casting, easy to seam up and no soft details, perfect for dry brushing and washes.

I think I  need to do a new pic of me feeding him..lol

The Spino..will be more than a bust but less than a full body..I'm hoping we get something like this :

Archinto

Id leave the psittacosaurus as it is. I think having the legs darker is very realistic. Clear coat it its done! It is gorgeous! I am really enjoying the details on this one. Did you use more foam? Seems hes not plastic wrapped looking as some of the others.

Thanks, the difference is that this one is resin sculpted by Shane Foulkes : http://cretaceouscreationsofamerica.com/psittacosaurus.html

My involvement was to clean it up, drill out and install pins, putty up the seams, and paint it.

Took advantage of his sale at the end of November..i think it was 20-30% off too?  Great deal for the park here. I have to make a log for it to hide in still too.

Thanks, it's different than I had planned but it works. :)

Blade-of-the-Moon

Paint, paint and more paint!  A big thank you to Dan Liebman and Martin Garratt for the inspiration!
