I was about to post that the last photo is vicious looking .... you read my mind!  :)

lol great minds think alike eh ?  One of the kid's here said he looked like a psycho..so the dino version of this perhaps :

I think my main inspiration for dinosaur characters is Delgado, thinking it over I remembered the guy from the third panel here :

I used to be really focused on the individual details of each one..I'd flip back and forth between the character guides and the story seeing who was killed off, who led the raid on the Rex nest, ect.. ;D

Raptors and T-rex are awesome  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Thanks !

Looking at my own pics I can see I have one eye a bit higher than the other drawn on there..on a side note don't worry over the huge eyes, they will be 4" but I have to sculpt some skin over them . :) ) . I believe I also need to bulk up the muscle on the lower jaw near the front a bit.

Some Velociraptor progress pics :

are you going bald head+no wings on the "raptors"?  Don't get me wrong, I like the new wolf-eagle modern renditions of dromies, but do we really need huge primaries on a weaponized hand?

*though science would probably hit me like lightning from an offended god.

**edit:  I'm taking that comment back.  Just saw some nice art (while browsing through the forum) showing claws and "wings" don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Takama

raptors looking good. mybe give them something to feed on when there done >:D

lol that's true.  Do to the specifics of the materials mine will have mostly scaly heads, I maybe sculpt a few on the top though.

As for the hands I haven't settled, I would like to do large wings feathers but they may hang like hair instead of being stock straight..it all just depends really. The largest I'm comfortable with is like the ones on my Struthiomimus :

These guys are already proving more difficult than it though since they have feathers on the underbody as well as on top.

Here's the progress on our gift shop, we just put the sign up yesterday :

Not exactly sure how to design the interior..I'm thinking of leaving the studs showing to maximize space and build shelving around them . The ceiling rafters I had the idea of using camo netting to cover and then the shelving will look like crates all marked somehow with countries and dinosaurs ?  Anyone have any more ideas ?

T-Rex progress :

I actually think this guy is about done. As far as foam goes.  Two areas I'm not sure on though. The area of the skull past the eyeball, the infratemporal fenestra area , is it supposed to out as far as ridge extending from the side of the skull behind the eye ? Or is it just a bit lower and you can't see it from the front ?  The other area is the lower jaw, how far does it stick out past the back of the head ? Should there be flesh on the back of skull extended out to meet the that area ?   Thanks any help is appreciated !

Feathering the Velociraptor :

Progress is almost complete on the foam stage of our 1:1 T-Rex ! We need to raise another 200.00 USD for the teeth and eyes for him ! Please if you can just donate us a dollar ! It will be very much appreciated by us here and by the visiting children that want to see the King in the flesh !

A quick fleshed out concept over the foam base done in Paint to check against my references and see if everything looked good before continuing. I'm pretty happy with it, but any of you guys see a glaring issue let me know.

Thank you Patrx ! I know it's not a huge deal in the scheme of things but it feels good to get some attention which will hopefully lead to donations to help us out..honestly I've been stretched a bit thin trying to get the Park to a point I thought it was good enough to really advertise and it  has been stressful. Were getting a lot of requests for info now, birthday parties, and Likes to our facebook page have been rolling in for past few hours..it's been quite exciting.    You'd be very welcome bud ! Let em know and I'll make sure I'm around to meet you ! :)
