Yes You are right, I need to correct that next time I work on it ! Thank you for pointing it out. I am still trying to find the best way to have it lying, in order for the final resin piece not to be wobbly !

I had a few minutes to start trying details yesterday, it is the very beginning.

Allaurasorus

Hi everyone , more details have been added to the Parasaurolophus for the Diorama !

Wonderful job! Do you use alcohol to smooth out the excess bits from detailing?

I'm especially impressed with the texturing!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Thank you ! And thank you all for the great comments !!
I tried alcohol, it works very nicely, but I am now using lighter fluid (usually used on oil based clay) and found it working very very nicely ! I am being carefully not to brush it on too hard or it actually 'melts' the sculpey a little bit to much and then looses details.

Allaurasorus

Hi everyone,

I just finished the Parasaurolophus today ! At least for now, I will have to work on the few bits a couldn't get while working on the wooden board, but that will be later on, when the Albertosaurus is also done.
So here are some pictures, I hope you'll like them, and next to the Albertosaurus !

Outstanding work, it's hard to believe this is your first model.  :)

Mamasaurus

I love the texture, and your attention to all those little scales is downright impressive!  :) I'm loving your progress here, and looking forward to see more

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Looks fantastic!  However, after looking at its facial expression, I actually feel sorry for the darn thing.   :(

Crikey! I haven't caught up with this in a while, and it's really come on. I think that has to be one of the best Para models I've seen, and it's incredibly detailed and expressive. With both of them being personal favourite dinosaurs of mine, I can't wait to see the Albertosaur - keep up the good work! :)
