Hi everyone,
I am slowly starting a new project, a diorama, probably at a 1.40 scale (I am not too sue yet). This will be a first for me, I haven't really tried to sculpt models before.
I am currently gathering information about the two dinosaurs, Albertosaurus and Parasaurolophus, and will start the armature soon.
I began my journey with a quick sketch of the scene.
I hope you like it.

Agreed.  I think this will be interesting.  Love the sketch.

Hi everyone,  I have been working on this over the week end. The armature of the parasaurolophus and the skull base.
A quick trip to the oven and it will be ready to start with the next layer !

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

I'm really impressed! What medium are you using there? I'm pretty new to all of this.

I am using Super Sculptey. It is a polymer clay you can harden in the oven. I find it really nice to work with !

Thank you all for the kind words !

Yeah, I know Sculpey. I always wanted to be good with it, but I'm kind of an idiot and tend to stick my thumbs in parts I've already finished and then I either burn it or comes out rubbery. Awesome! Thanks!
