That was you? Oh man that's cool! The rumor going around was a warehouse. But we all know how reliable rumors are.
We are accustomed to look upon the shackled form of a conquered monster, but there - there you could look at a thing monstrous and free." - King Kong, 2005

I think there was a warehouse with Sinclair collectibles from the 60s found.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Where exactly was this rumour going around then? Are my PV shenanigans fast becoming the stuff of urban legend?  ^-^

BTW, still got some Eryops and Peltobatrachus left, if you're interested. In my warehouse, which suspiciously looks like a paper bag.  :P

I myself had the same idea to buy the magazines in search of more info on the Ornithocheirus, but never found them on eBay. I'm glad you found some to give us more clues about it. I really hope someone will someday find more of these. I'd be one willing pay good cash for the Ornithocheirus. The feeling of incompleteness it represents in my collection keeps bothering me a lot :(. I"m not sure why, I just obsess over stuff like this sometimes. When that first known Ornithocheirus was sold by a forum member to another on eBay for 500 bucks I was expecting it to sell for a much higher price and for this and some other personal reasons at the time I didn't bid.

Now, I know better not to miss such opportunities when they present themselves.

isnt it everyone's DTF fantasy here to stumble upon mint WWD Ornithocheirus bunch wrapped in dusty pastic bag in a flea market or garage sale somewhere and being sold for about 50 cents each or $5 for the lot (of 20pcs)?

I got the liopleurodon in my day thanks to a relative of mine who was commissioned and went to Britain on a business trip and bought it for me. On the other hand the ornitocheirus is for me a chimera to find it as it has been said an almost impossible company.
