The Masiakasaurus is nice, but I think I will pass on the others, they are rather generic and there exists (IMHHO) better versions of those species.

I honestly can't see the CollectA Shunosaurus even vaguely comparing to this one, and I don't think there even has been another Plesiosuchus figure made. But I agree in regards to Charcarodontosaurus, while nice I just don't like it as much as some others (which I don't own either btw, just not a large theropod person).

That's fine and all, but I personally find it (the shunosaurus) to be rather "meh", the colors being odd and I'm not a fan of sauropod figures with "squiggly-wiggly" tails. Plus that headsculpt just looks like its going "durrrr I'm a dinosaur!"

I agree, sauropods with extravagantly bent tails bother me too, probably because it's so hard to find one without. The facial expression now that you mention it does seem exaggerated, like it's chewing on something. I don't mind the colouring personally, but I can see it feeling a tad out of place (reminds me of a hamster). None of these things bother me a lot, but I do notice them and I can understand how they could bother someone. I will probably buy it, since even if it does ruffle a bit of a pet peeve I can only think of a handle of sauropods that don't, and it is undeniably the most accurate and best done Shunosaurus on the market.

I still don't think that the CollectA's sweeping tail, demonic eyes, human-like skull, and flat brown colour can hold a candle.

I really am acting selfish but... why no Therizinosaurus? I feel like the old safari one needs a reboot...

Oh and I like these new ones.
like a bantha!

I think the color scheme is more impala-like. Also, that CollectA  Shunosaurus is the stuff of nightmares.

How convenient, seeing as it's Halloween and all. Maybe I should buy a bunch of old CollectA's and use them as decorations >:D

Obviously those. The ones conspiracy theorists believe in.

Welcome to The Great Uncanny Valley.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Ya those, I just was making sure we were on the same page.

Sorry to pile on, CollectA Shunosaurus, but you are quite unsettling. :))

I'm looking forward to the Safari Shunosaurus- the sculpted details, including expression, are often a little distorted through the combination of paint and small photos.

Ha ha ha ha, lord, I am loving this CollectA Shunosaurus roast. I'm really looking forward to replacing it with the Safari version.

no Shunosaurus, but that  Masiakasaurus will be mine! Ah hahahahaha!

that reminds me, in Jurassic World did anyone think the dying sauropod had a weird creepy distressed human expression on its face? Why did they do that? :\

because the creative team thought that the general public would like to see disneyesque dying dinos for the feels.
