Ive noticed that Special threads have been popping up for specific collections.
So I thought I start one for the Carnegie Collection. And proubuly one for CollectA soon

This is my current collection, though i have moved them from my dresser since i took this photo.

Right now i am in no real rush to expand it. too busy buying CollectA

Good call  :D I'll post my Carnegie collection here soon... :)

I'm considering photographing all my Carnegies together...but the dinos are so tightly packed in, it'd be a bit of an undertaking...

So I hope a few Carnegie-themed pics will be OK for now.

Old green rexes.

Anniversary rex.

Ankylosaurus (centre) with the much older Iguanodon and Euoplocephalus. (And yes, there are a couple of others just visible too...)

I'm in the same boat but also considered photographing them as well as the Invictas and other brands. One of these days I'll do it but it will certainly take some time.

I thought the Carnegie Brach I bought recently (see my last post) was original mould from 1988, but found this from previous forum
http://dinotoyforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=toys&action=display&thread=3760

Am I correct in saying that there have been 2 moulds since 1988? 88 mould version (taller, bigger head, tail curved upwards), then 96 mould version (slighter smaller, lighter with tail touching ground), both moulds having different paint variations throughout the years?

I'm gonna try and get my hands on an original mould :)

Jpengineer: I look forward to your indepth look.

I know of 3 molds since 1988. Photo soon.
My living room smells like old plastic dinosaur toys... Better than air freshener!

Those dalmatians look rightfully worried, Takama.

Your room looks like it's on board a ship, Chris.  :))

This thread doesn't seem complete without me showing off "The Mountain" once again:

.

As you may have guessed, there have been some additions and subtractions since the photo was taken.

I picked up an older carnegie brach mould on ebay yesterday.  Looks very similar to jwmo's one.
