My latest addition to the herd, CollectA's deluxe Amargasaurus!
I actually love this figure, I think they did a great job on this one. The sail needs getting used to since it's so unlike any that we have seen to date.
It's a large figure, so I'm pretty sure it's bigger than 1:40.

Tempting her with some yum-yums  ;)

Close up of the head. It's nicely sculpted and resembles the fossil finds. Even the teeth are individually sculpted! Now, if only they can sculpt a new head for their Agustinia deluxe figure ::)

With her new playmates!

Nice boki, so what does the figure cost roughly and I gather you assume it was worth acquiring then? That is a solid shot of the three together, just need the DinostoreUS model in there now.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

I really like the new amarga, I paid $19.99 for it I think at DeJankens. For me, it's worth acquiring and adding to the herd... one can never have so many Amarga ;) Yes, just need to add the Kinto to the line up, for some reason I forgot to add it >:(

Bokisaurus

Hmm, odd that my most recent sauropod addition is another Amarga ;D

I like the Apatosaurus. I like his form.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

The Brachio was an earlier work, way before the Faunalcast series and is not part of it. I got it from him a few years ago. :)

Weaver

Oh gosh, the Papo, Old Carnegie, Schleich, Invicta, and Bullyland Brachio's in those photos look like they are laughing alone with salad. Beautiful but, laughing. To themselves. XD Gorgeous pictures Boki!

Bokisaurus

Something new, and I believe the first figures of this species, Lirainosaurus 1/40 scale Shapeway figure by Manuel Bejarano.
This is a small cretaceous titanosaur sauropod from Spain

with is new friend, isisaurus ^-^

Bokisaurus

And the March of the Titans just got longer with these new additions! Wow, this must be the year of sauropods with 8 new additions!
First up is CollectA's rearing Diplodocus. It's a beautiful model, so much more better looking in person than in any stock photos I have seen. Very well detailed, and full of character!

Here she is with the Queen!

The head is super tiny (like it should), but really detailed for it's small size as you can see here.

It's small size, but not that small. She goes well with the Wild Safari Brachi and Apato

Now, on to Geoworld. They are flooding the market with 36 new dinosaur figures this year in their Jurassic Hunter 2nd Expedition collection!
7, yes seven are sauropods! Some have been "heavily" inspired by CollectA for sure ;)
In order, we have Jobaria, Mamenchisaurus, Saltasaurus, Rebbachiosaurus, Camarasaurus (new twist on this one), Argentinosaurus, and Agustinia (perhaps the most obvious CollectA rip-off )
[

The entire Geoworld JHE2 herd

And just how "similar looking are some of them compared to CollectA's ? Take a close look ;D

The entire 2013 sauropod herd

Now this should make any sauropod fan happy, very happy ;D
