As promised, my collection  ;D

I've been collecting Papo's since I guess 2012. Just came used to the 'not collecting plastic dinosaurs anymore' life, until I saw the green running rex in a small shop in Luxembourg. So I started again, promised myself to only collect Papo's. And that's when Lego decided they needed a dinosaur line which was extremely cool. Ah well, long story short, I keep telling myself that it's OK as long as it fits in one showcase. Which it doesn't. So half of the Legos is not on display.

Anyhow, pictures! Lets see if I can get this working..

Papo's, of course. Green rex still standing with the aid of a matchstick.

The Lego Dino sets. Not all on display. I've sold all the sets I had twice (or even more) but still it won't fit.

Jurassic World sets, also not all on display.

Particulary proud on these two guys. I've bought them in Korea, for a reasonable $50something.

It's my great pleasure to present you, after three years of hunting (and honestly way too much money for some plastic ;D):

(no, not my hands. That's my wife holding it)

I will gladly provide more photo's if asked. Maybe I'll take some, since these are not really top notch. But It'll do for now.

Jetoar

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Green rex still standing with the aid of a matchstick.

I've spent literally months looking for some cool prop like rocks or whatever, and eventually I resigned to use the sitting rex as support to the running one. Never realised that was so easy to fix.

And now I hear you thinking: 'the title stated complete Papo collection, and I'm still missing the legendary brown rex'

You're still missing the mammals in the line, at least I don't see them in the pics.

I know they are officially part of the line but I don't consider the mammals part of the dino collection

J.R.S T REX

Nice collection of Papo's.  I too and a Papo fan and have the ones that you have except for the brown running T Rex (jealous of that one)  and the 2 new colors in the Velociraptor and T Rex.  I also really like the Rebor line as well.  Not really a fan of the rest of the toy companies dinosaurs. There are a few exceptions but for me the brwon, green, and tan colors seem more natural and I cannot get into the crazy colors but I guess the kids like them.  Anyway, check out the Rebor line although you probably do not have room for much more.

Viking Spawn

Love your collection!  I also like how its displayed in your curio too!

laticauda

Very nice collection, Legos and Papo, you can't go wrong.   :)

I haven't seen it in person yet, but my first reaction, I am not a fan.

Feast your eyes, I got the Kaprosuchus and the rainbow rex this week:

Quick notes: Kaprosuchus is awesome. Must be one of the best paintjobs and sculpts they have ever done.
Rex is nice, very shiny. Even more shiny than the bary and dilophosaurus.

And yes, we have cat with some sort of attention disorder :)

Shonisaurus

The Kaprosuchus looks great but tyrannosaurus rex the rainbow is fabulous.

By the way as commenting on the video jurassic tyrannosaurus rex the rainbow collector differs from green and brown by its tail. I have seen that curves so different from the tyrannosaurus rex green (rather vastatosaurus good) of this brand Papo.

Inaccurate this brand from the paleontological point (except Tupuxuara, carnotaurus and even young apatosaurus reserves) but certainly spectacular in the design of almost all of its figures (excepting plesiosaurus and mosasaurus).

Roselaar

Looking great! My, that Kapro is big...

You got them quite early, first time I see the Rainbow Rex for real. Where did you get them?

teddybier

@ shonisaurus: What exactly is the difference between the green and the rainbows tail? I fail to see it..

@ roselaar: I always order the papos at www.internet-speelgoedwinkel.nl. The owners do know that people are collecting toys, so they wrap them extremely well.

Flaffy

I really want the kaprosuchus... Although it is on the expensive side for me, I still need it in my collection! I guess "You get what you pay for", a super detailed and high quality model of the Kapro!
Great photos BTW, really captures the details!  :) ^-^

Hi there,

hereby I'd like to share with you the last (hopefully, because, repaints..) update of 2016:

Oviraptor and T-rex set:

Yup, spent ~€40 on a repainted oviraptor and a rex I already have. Hope Papo does not pull this trick too often.

For those of you wondering, this is the Rex from the oviraptor set (in front) and the original brown rex next to eachother:

I'm not seeing too much difference, besides some black spots on the jaws.

Some green and brown raptor comparisons:

And everything in place:
