Can someone show me how big the CollectA feathered deluxe Tyrannosaurus is, compared with the Schleich Tyrannosaurus or maybe one of the better Schleich figures like the Pentaceratops or Kentrosaurus? I have a collection of mostly Schleich dinosaurs, but since a while I've added some non-Schleich to my collection.

This is the best I can do:

That's just what I was looking for! Thanks! :D

Now I'm going to make a request: anyone have a shot of the WS Carcharodontosaurus next to the CollectA Deluxe Carcharodontosaurus?

I like the overall look of the CollectA one much better, especially the head and colors  ;)

Collecta are really starting to become hard to beat, if they keep going at this rate they're going to overtake Schleich and WS in popularity. Doug's sculpts are fabulous but the models themselves are getting a little...familiar? At least the new T. rex and pterosaur look good.
I have no problem with Collecta, and no I don't think WS sculpts are any worse or better than Collecta, but in terms of accuray it's hands down Collecta's shining days.
I always say to myself "Papo for detail, Collecta for accuracy, Schleich for the kids."

My problem with Safari theropods is they have a tendency to have bulky feet, thick legs , big hands and this sort of compactness to the body. I feel like they need to be thinned/stretched out a bit. Also I wish they stood more horizontally(at least the carcharo.) I dont know if thats a look the sculptor intended or something the company wanted in the figures. It might make the figures more appealing to kids.

OTOH, while I have & love the Collecta carcharo, I do agree that it has some weird looking hips, especially when you see the figure from the top.

I have only 3 theropods,Acrocanthosaurus, Monolophosaurus and Yutyrannus. I don't think they are much bulky and are very horizontal to me,  but the Acro does have very big feet. The Carcharodontosaurus is indeed very vertical,  I prefer the pose of Collecta's,  but they sculpt is nice I'm both.  I'm very conflicted about which one to get,  collecta is bigger than my other figures so I don't know if it will look out of place.

If Safari figures were bigger they'd be hard to beat. Like, Carnegie-sized. Doug's sculpts are amazing, I'm sure even more so if Safari gave us bigger dinos.

Silvanusaurus

I don't have either of the Carchs myself, but I have to say in contrast to previous comments, I find the Safari one much more visually appealing than the CollectA. The latter showcases several of the reasons I'm really put off by a lot of CollectA's theropods; intense shrink-wrapping, strange and awkward looking feet, tacky (to my eyes, personally) colour schemes and an overall lack of 'life' in the appearance, it also looks very plasticy. Maybe it's just me, but the Safari at least has more character, and the forms in it's flesh and skin look much more coherently natural. I'm not that bothered by the pose either way. For the same reasons I think Safari's impending feathered rex will easily outshine CollectA's for me.

Anyway has anyone got a comparison shot of the Collecta Hatzegopteryx next to the Collecta Diplodocus, Olorotitan, Feathered T. rex deluxe? Or even just one of those three? I'm thinking of ordering it but I would like to know the proper size.

Yeah, Safari's is C. saharicus; CollectA's is C. pachypygus.

Thanks Suspsy! That's a pretty good size there!

Yes, the Hatzegopteryx is well worth the purchase. I really hope CollectA has a new pterosaur in store for next year.

I'd say the CollectA and WS Carcharodontosaurus are on par in terms of sculpting. The WS doesn't suffer shrink wrapping or wide hips, but its colour scheme is so bloody boring. It's probably the least exciting toy in the 2016 assortment. I think most kids would prefer the CollectA version if they saw both of them on a toy shelf.

I dunno, I tried to change it to what would make it more appealing to me. Mind you I didnt change it to what would make it right because no way Im better at this thing that Doug and maybe I just have a weird thing for skinny gracile dinos. I think its how much Greg Paul's work influenced my love of dinos.

I had to use MSPaint and couldnt give it a more horizontal stance...
