Can someone show me any of the small Schleich figures, like the blue Carnotaurus or green Therizinosaurus or whatever you've got, next to some Papos and Collectas? I can't seem to wrap my head around how big they are and I've never seen any in person but they look pretty nice.

There is a video on Youtube where a guy shows his collection.
There are some small Schleich near Papos:    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzpyrLSTjic

Okay here I go again, requesting for another comparison  ^-^
How is the Invicta Mamenchisaurus next to the Papo Brachiosaurus?
It is lumbering over to my house  in the POST (Prehistoric Organism Security Team  ;) ;) ;)) (Yes I mean the boring old postal service hahaha)
and I want to know if it will fit on my shelf or if I will have to put it on the furniture, like my Papo Brachy,
Mamenchisaurus is really fun to say........ma-menchy-saw-rus...... ;D

Nanuqsaurus

Does anyone have the CollectA Lythronax? How big is it compared to the Safari Yutyrannus? I think these two feathered Tyrannosaurs would look great together!

....or :

The two figures have quite the same length but they are not in scale to each other.
Yutyrannus should be bigger than Lythronax : 9mt (30 ft)  vs  7,3 mt (24 ft).

Nanuqsaurus

Great pics! Thanks guys! :D The figures don't really have to be the same scale for me, but I couldn't find any good pics of how big the Lythronax is. For me, the Safari Yutyrannus is pretty much the minimum size for Tyrannosaur figures. Thanks again, the pictures are really useful!

Not sure if anyone has the PNSO Chungkingosaurus yet, but if anyone does would they be willing to take a comparison shot with the CollectA Guidraco? I'd just like to see exactly how big it is (and the Guidraco is generally my go-to size comparison tool) before making any sort of decision about getting it.

How does this adorable duo look together? My largest and teeniest plesiosaurs. ;)

You inspired me!  :D

Bahaha! You've got the big one too. I suppose the one on his head is even smaller than the purple one, isn't it, the baby from the mother and baby pair? I don't believe I've ever seen the black and yellow speckled one furthest down the neck before though.

Yes, you're right about the baby from the UHA mother and baby pair. So, it is sort of cheating. ;)

The small spotted one is by Japanese company Epoch.

And the other one was excavated from the heart of a bouncy ball!

But I'm taking this thread off topic now. I'll copy this over to the plesiosaur thread to continue the discussion there: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=21

Since this was one of the figures that people seemed to express the most interest in, I thought I'd show a close-up with a comparison. Astoundingly, it seems I don't have any other Cephalaspis figures, so here she is next to the Tedco Bothriolepis. The Cephalo is from a cheap magnetic fishing game with a bunch of other goofy-looking modern fish. Here you can see the cutesie little heart on her forehead.

I would love to see Carnegie and Battat Maiasaura together.  With the nest too please.

For those who wanted to see how the Tyco and Playskool giant sauropods stand against JP T-rex's, here ya go. They dwarf every dino toy they stand by!

These pics are from my collection thread, but I thought it would be good to also show them here. I like to combine Dinosaur
figures of certain groups that look approximately in scale to each other (no matter from which line or by which designer).
The Minmi for example isn't, but it's hard and takes years to put these figures together and there is no appropriately
sized Minmi in sight. For that reason it is barely acceptable to me :). Here are three quintet pics:

  Ornithopoda in 1:40:

Battat Ouranosaurus, Carnegie Collection Corythosaurus, Wild Safari Gryposaurus, Favorite Saurolophus, Manuel Bejarano Olorotitan

  Ceratopsia in 1:35:

Dinosaur Studio Triceratops, Rader Studios Styracosaurus, Mesozoic Miniatures Pachyrhinosaurus,       Manuel Bejarano Pentaceratops
                                                                                                                                   Kaiyodo Protoceratops,

  Ankylosauria in 1:35:

Galileo Hernandez Euoplocephalus, CollectA Minmi, Battat Edmontonia, Wild Safari Sauropelta, Carnegie Collection Ankylosaurus

I like to display my figures by scale as well..or at least I try... but it can be confusing can it? like I have my Carnegie ankylosaurus on the 1:40 shellf, yet you have it as 1:35. But I have Battat edmontonia as 1:35 like you do. I was wondering about WS sauropleta which I recently got so now I know it 1:35 as well. Wish I had more 1:35 figures, most of what I have are 1:40 & 1:50.

FWIW, my measurements say that the WS Sauropelta is 1:25 (animal is 5.2m long, toy is about 20 cm).

postsaurischian's photos would fit perfectly within a coffeetable photo book on prehistoric animal figures.
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

;D He, he ... two scientists, two opinions.
Gregory Paul's Princeton Field Guide says Sauropelta was 6 m long.
The figure measures 18,5 cm which would make it 1:32.
