see I told ya its confusing.  O:-)

This site supposedly has dino figures listed by scale, complete with pics. And here it has sauropelta as 1:40  :o

I agree, it can be confusing! I had calculated the scale of my CollectA Olorotitan at about 1:70, based on a length of 12 meters, but now I can't find any reason to think it was 12m long, and so I think it might be closer to 1:45. All the more reason to be pretty relaxed about it. :)

That would give the animal a length of 7.40 m :o.
The site isn't very serious. It lists the Papo Velociraptor at 1:20, which is ridiculous.

Maybe they're taking it to represent the JP version? Still a stretch in either case.

Personally I like seeing that the same figure can represent different scales depending on which specimen measurements you compare it to. It opens up more display options.

Dose anyone have Kaiyodo Protoceratops and Safari authentic Protoceratops (the tan and white stripes one) to compare?

Thank you.  Funny mine safari Protoceratops don't have grey eyes.  But mine also came from  Galaxy toys wonders of the wild - pint size pals dinosaurs 2 set. It was exactly the same as the Safari authentic 2 set but without the Dimetrodon.  I'm pretty sure that Galaxy toys distribute Safari toys at one point because the bellies of mine dinosaurs say Safari Ltd on it and the package says Galaxy toys on it. But thank you again I got a sense of how big Kaiyodo Protoceratops is and kinda figured the scale of Safari Protoceratops.  Is it hard to find a bootleg of the Safari authentic Protoceratops?  I would like to find that green one and a orange one I saw on the web.

While your at it can you comparr it with the caradontosaurus from 2016

Killekor

And someone Can compare it (the WS feathered T-Rex) with the WS sauropelta?

Thanks

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Bokisaurus

Okay, some comparison photos of the new Safari figures ^-^

First up, Diplodocus - with the its Carnegie predecessor

The mighty Kronosaur with CollectA's Pliosaur
Body wise, they are about the same size, but the New Safari has longer flippers and the head is about 50% larger than collectA's!
They display really nice together

Coelophysis

Einiosaurus with the rest of Wild Safari's ( Doug's)

Jose S.M.

Thanks Bokisaurus! I'm glad the Diplodocus is not very much smaller than the Carnegie in length, it's a bit small but I can live with that. And Einiosaurus fit perfect with it's predecessors.

Faelrin

Does anyone have the new Safari Feathered Tyrannosaurus and the Safari Yutryannus? I'm thinking of picking up both of these at some point, and I'm curious as to how they look together.

What I want to know is how the diplodocus compares to the predators from other companies like Papo and Schleich.

Is anyone able to post the Safari and Bullyland Iguanodons together? Possibly with Papo parasaurolophus for scale? Thanks!

( Parasaurolophus is in 1:45 scale )

:)

Fenestra

I would be very grateful for some pictures of the new beautiful Giganotosaurus from Safari ltd. next to the big feathered T-rex from Collecta.
Giganotosaurus was love at first sight, but it has to be in the same scale as the T-rex for me to buy it.

*crosses fingers*

KeU

Along similar lines, is it possible for a kind soul to post a pic of the new Safari Giganotosaurus and Tyrannosaurus from the top? Would like to see how they compare in terms of girth before buying. It will be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to have the following group photo of fantastic prehistoric mammals updated with the Andrewsarchus?

And also, I know is asking a lot of pics but maybe a couple will turn up:

- Collecta Gastonia, Safari Ltd Sauropelta and Papo Ankylosaurus
- Tyrannosaurus (Papo, Collecta feathered deluxe and Safari Ltd feathered)
- Velociraptor (Rebor, Papo both JP and feathered versions plus Safari Ltd feathered)
- ceratopsians (Papo, Collecta and Safari Ltd, at your choice)
