Acrocanthosaurus comparison, finally. Two fantastic figures for me, they have very distinct styles, but as someone already pointed out the pose is quite similar.

Amazing.  Accuracy issues aside, the Papo Acrocanthosaurus is the much more visually appealing figure. And for a fraction of the price.

You could probably graft the legs and head of the Papo onto the other Acrocanthosaurs' body, and then you would have the best of each one.

But I gave up such foolish fun years ago... No time.   :-\

Rebor's Acrocanthosaurus would just need smaller feet to be perfect, in my opinion. The Papo version isn't as natural looking and majestic as Rebor's, but has its own style and you can appreciate it way better in person than on picture or video.

It is more bulky acrocanthosaurus Rebor in size and perhaps more finished and more realistic details. That does not mean that the Papo does not stop being an excellent dinosaur and that when it receives it will make a good pair with the one that I have of the store Rebor.

The same I can say of the carnotaurus Papo with respect to the one of Rebor (that I will buy it with reserves by the articulated front legs) but that will make a good set also, although in this one from my point of view is less interesting than the one of Papo at Which I see superior in every way and more based on the sideshow model.

Can someone post a picture of collecta and schleich 1/40 human together. I want to see if there a big difference between them. Please and thank you.

Hans is definitely not dressed for field work.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Thats how I dress for field work all the time... if we are defining field work as 'going outdoors', that is.

Yeah, I don't usually carry a pickaxe and binoculars in public either :P

Anyways, here is a picture I took of some feathered Tyrannosaurs next to eachother, maybe it's useful for someone looking for some fuzzy friends for their collection!

...oops.  ;D
*sigh* Yutyrannus really, do you even look outside? :P

The Safari Yutyrannus, possibly the only dinosaur figure ever made that keeps his mouth shut at all times.

Hello everyone, I received my custom Papo Acro and wanted to post comparison pics with the Rebor. I am in the process of moving and packed up my collection this weekend, so only took two pics (which have flashed so may be a bit over-saturated, I apologize I do not own a professional camera/setup). There are a few differences between the paint schemes, mainly the Rebor having a bit of dark brown that bleeds down the body from the spines and the larger orange spots on the Papo spines, but they are pretty similar. Anyway, enjoy!

I'm amazed how smooth Papo's skin looks next to Rebor's.
(...and at the same time how humongous Rebor's feet look next to Papo.)  :o

Beautiful repaint.

Jose S.M.

They look very good together! I like the Papo ones better to be honest.

Jetdin

such a nice repaint!! really helps when comparing the 2 molds. honestly i would take the papo

Nanuqsaurus

That's a really freakin' good repaint! :) I really like the new Papo Acro, can't wait to get it.

Roselaar

Lovely! I might actually prefer the Papo repaint over the original Rebor figure.

Anyone up for repainting the Rebor figure in the Papo colours? ;)

Lanthanotus

I like the darker colors on the Rebor better, but heck, in comparison side by side it becomes so obvious, what oversized feet that one has. However, they fit very well together, could be like young male (the Papo) and old female...

Thanks for the pictures, empire3569 and good luck with moving your stuff.

Megalosaurus

Papo looks great even in the original colors.
But I still prefer Rebor's despite the big feet. So I'll keep both.
