How these figures look together? [Comparison Thread]

I agree with everyone, overall I like the Papo better; it makes it blatantly obvious how oversized the feet and the "dragon scales" on the Rebor are. I still like my Rebor though, although I don't think I'm going to display the two together in a diorama as originally intended as their style is just too different. So the Papo will have a special place in the new house once we get all settled in :)

If you ask me a couple of months ago I would have tell you that the Rebor Acro was the superior figure, but now seeing these comparison between the two I can clearly say that I prefer the detail of the Papo Acrocanthosaurus, while I still like it the Rebor Acro has every single scale protruding out of this body while the Papo has a much more smooth skin but still being incredibly detailed. The "night vision effect" of the Rebor Acro detracts it when compared with the lively and expresive eyes of the Papo, and the head sculpt of the Papo looks more like the actual thing. And the feet....I thought the feet on the Rebor Acro were not that oversized, but compared to the Papo.....Yeahhhhh....not as good as I remember. The only thing I find superior on the Rebor Acro is, like a lot of you said, the color scheme, but I have to admit that the colors of the Papo become more and more attractive every time I look at it, despite me first thinking that they were not that good, but now I really like them. Same thing with the posture, I like the Rebor´s better but the Papo´s has grown on me.

And on top of that Papo does not cost a fortune. So while I still want the Rebor one, but I´m not going to spend 70 € on a PVC figure, even if it comes with a base and part of a corpse, It is obvious which one I´m going to pick.

I think the Rebor one has the better pose and color scheme but the papo one is still a little better overall. The Papo head looks a little too much like a T Rex though. But the old WS Acro beats them both.

Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

Anybody's willing to share a comparison between Collecta Einiosaurus and Papo baby Triceratops?

Does anyone know how these figures scale up with one another? The ROM Primeval Predators set, the Bullyland fossils set, the Safari Cambrian Life TOOB, and the Safari Ammonite. I'm hoping to get these soon, and I'm curious to see how they look alongside each other.

I can't take a picture of these figures because I have all of them in storage bins right now.
But you can find them here:

You can use Schleich "Hans" for a comparison.
Hope it helps...

that small Schleich Saichania is surprisingly nice. is it relatively accurate? and it is available only as bundled with the Giganotosaurus right?

It's definitely the best of the, what, 7 different versions they've made? It's even roughly 1:40. There are definitely errors, but it's got the overall shape of the head mostly right (the nostrils and the specific arrangement of bones differ from the fossil). It has the osteoderms on the forelegs, the first of theirs to include that detail. Dejankins is selling it by itself without the Giganotosaurus, but I think everywhere else they're only available bundled.

Someone requested another size comparison photo of the CollectA Dimorphodon last week. Here you go:

And here it is guarding my music collection.

That Dimorphodon looks really cute for such a huge model.

Shonisaurus

The dimorphodon looks beautiful and at the same time is immense. A great acquisition on your part. It is by far the best pterosaur done to date. It even surpasses the guidraco.  8)

Nice figures and nice photos.  :)  ;)

terrorchicken

really really wish Collecta would make a smaller version of it...best dimorphodon figure out there.

Hey I got another request. I just got the Terra Battat Parasaurolophus. Does anyone have the JP Parasaurolophus (the electronic one) with that Terra Battat Parasaurolophus? They have similar color schemes (the tan and white colors at least), and I'm wondering how they size up to one another. I want to know if they would display nicely together. It could be a while before I get that JP one, but I hope this year. It's long overdue that I get it.

I only have the JP one but I can tell you from having seen the various Battat figures the JP one is probably about twice the size.
