Can someone post a picture of wild safari Woolly Mammoth (not the Carnegie one) with EoFauna Steppe Mammoth and one with Safari Ltd American Mastodon please and thank you. I just can't wait to get both of them.  I'm almost tempted to just get the Steppe Mammoth from Everything Dinosaur. I can't wait for it to be sold in American online stores.

I find the one with the Mastodon and Tyrannosaurus funny.  It looks like it is cresting the Tyrannosaurus.

Faelrin

Is it safe to say that this Mastodon will dwarf the Safari Woolly Mammoth? I still hope I can display them alongside each other, even if out of scale.

The gift shop had the Safari Woolly Mammoth and I was able to compare it to the Mastodon.  They're both about the same height, but the Mastodon is nearly twice the length and girth of the mammoth.

Faelrin

Thanks for the help on that one. I guess this means I can display them how I was planning too after all (with the Woolly Mammoth in front, and the Mastodon behind it).

Yeah, thanks for the photo shoot, confirms that it should display well with the rest of my Mammoth herd (think I'm gonna need a bigger shelf!) Already have the Steppe Mammoth on order.

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

Thanks to those who provided pics of the Collecta Marine tube, the Eofauna mammoth, and the Safari Mastodon! They are helpful in informing my buying choices.

I hate to say anything negative about a Doug Watson figure; they always look so nice it feels like a personal insult to me to say anything negative about them. However, I can't lie that I am incredibly disappointed at the size of the mastodon; I was REALLY hoping it would fit in alongside my Safari mammoth and Amebeledon. It's still a beautiful figure, and gives some much-needed representation to a famous-yet-neglected taxon, so I will probably still give in and buy it someday, I suppose. I usually only display similarly scaled critters next to each other though, and I'm sad that I won't be able to display a greater variety of probiscideans in a group together.

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

Does anybody have the Collecta Basilosaurus along with some MBA whale figures? I'd like to know how it would look alongside my Gray Whale specifically. I sadly missed my chance to get the Sperm and Humpback cheaply a while back, but I have a good idea of their size, so I'll take pics of those too.

I think I heard the Mastodon is 1:30 scale.  So it should look nice next to the Carnegie Woolly Mammoth. That is if you have one.

So does anyone know how the Safari LTD Sauropelta would size up to the Papo, Rebor, or Battat Terra Acrocanthosaurus? I know Safari LTD's Acrocanthosaurus is a bit smaller to be in scale with the Sauropelta. Not sure if this has been posted before.

Just yesterday I assorted my displayed collection anew and put both of them on top of my monitor husbandry tank. I like to think of them as male and female....

Lanthanotus

Well, the two Kentrosaurus are placed atop a bigger husbandry tank (160 x 120 x 185) for a medium sized V. rudicollis (approx 79 cm TL). In the pictures they are shown inside one of the Borneo Earless Monitor tanks: Click.

Bosc Monitors are a great but tremendously underrated and unfortunately often neglected species. Used to have a pair of V. salvator aswell 20 years back, was lucky to find a good place for them when I started university.

I like the colours on the new one better, but probably the sculpt of the older version is still superior.

Bokisaurus

Bristol Museum exclusive Doris Pliosaurus, finally got it.
Well, wish it was better assembled. I love the paint, but the seams are just badly attached and not even fir properly. The eyes are also badly painted.
Overall, I still like the figure and glad I got it. Here it is with some of the other big guys ^-^

as you can see, I repainted the eyes.
Here are some comparison pics

Cheers! :))

Great comparison shots, Boki!  That figure's bigger than I thought it'd be.

I guess the Collecta Kronosaurus will be the best pliosaur model available for a loooong time. Make your move Papo and Rebor, please.

Jose S.M.

I would like to see the Papo Cryolophosaurus and Ceratosaurus compared against Safari regular sized theropods.

Faelrin

I know that Matthew the Dinosaur King has compared the Papo Ceratosaurus with the Safari one, and the Papo Acrocanthosaurus with the Safari one, in case you want to check out those videos too. Though I do agree some images showing them together would be very nice.
