I wish they had expanded their Prehistoric animal line...

They still might!

Probably not. Instead we get these Pixar things...

Looking at their site, it appears that they only have licenses for animated properties (which, in terms of toys, would be easier to reproduce). The only variant is the live-action Cinderella figures.

Overall, it appears that Bullyand is working for Disney now. Ièm guessing that one license alone cost enough!

Probably. Their Disney figures are however also sold in stores that sell no other of their figures. It allows them to exist next to Schleich.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

New for 2016 by Bullyland:

Liopleurodon

"[...]This model should be available from May 2016 and that it will have an articulated lower jaw."

T Rex

"[...] will have an articulated jaw. Available around May."
Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

CityRaptor

Okay, those are probably not the best models but clearly better than Pixarsaurs.

The T.rex pose looks familiar. The Liopleurodon also reminds me of a leopard seal in pose and coloration:

Wowee! So fun and colourful! Even though they're not very accurate. The Liopleurodon looks very snake-like!

Mod edit: Please avoid unnecessary quotation of images.

Oh, gosh :o
The tyrannosaur reminds me of the rex from Walking With Dinosaurs, particularly in the area of the snout. The feet, though, what's going on there?
In any case, these could both be worse, but they're certainly not going on my personal wishlist.

tyrantqueen

Their Good Dinosaur figures were nicer. At least they accurate to the source material.

Pass again.

Hhmm, not the best looking figures. The Lio still has some sort of awkward but irresisitible charm. I also like its swimming posture. I might pick that one up.

Halichoeres

Oof. Well, it's not what I'd hoped for, but at least they haven't completely given up on non-licensed prehistorics.

I'll probably pass on both of these. Bullyland shines when they tackle the obscure. Do we really need ANOTHER Lioplurodon with the WWD paint scheme? Do we really need that when CollectA and Safari both did it so much better? I like the pose of the T. rex but having just bought the re-issued Battat this past summer I don't feel too compelled to buy T. rex models unless they're doing something really unique with it. All well, I still need to play catch up on the older Bullyland models I actually do like.

I got the felling  that Bullyland decided not to do more prehistoric animals but this is a surprise, but not a good one. Not interested in those whatsoever.

Shonisaurus

The liopleurodon and tyrannosaurus tex Bullyland be honest I not impress me more understand that they are better figures Schleich dinosaurs.

It's a shame about Bullyland have dropped as compared to the same brand Lambeosaurus.

For a moment I thought that instead of tyrannosaurus rex was a figure of carnotaurus shoddy. It seems more comic figures for children collectible figurines. I honestly do not convince me.

The liopleurodon would have to see at other angles but his pose "retro" with steep head as before these figures were made disappoints me.

The truth am dinosaur toy collector. But as Collecta, Safari, Rebor Papo and I like to collect them, the dinosaur figures Bullyland this year I do not lose sleep.

Anyway, I thought this year would not dinosaurs and prehistoric animals thing that really catches my attention, considering that the company with Mojo and obviously unfortunately, Safari had thrown in the towel.

Oh my. :-X

They're so cartoony! The T. rex's overall pose and color reminds me a bit of their Allosaurus (which is a much much better figure!).

sauroid

both good and bad news. good because Bullyland still makes prehistoric figures, bad cause they arent good looking.
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

Turret

Agreed. But I'll wait until I see them in person, or better pictures.

Silvanusaurus

Clearly these arent accurate in the slightest, but I still quite like the look of them... I really like the dynamic pose of the t-rex, though the proportions are ridiculous, it's more interesting to me than quite a few of the 2016 figures from collectA, which while much more realistic, don't have much life or character in them.

sauroid

strange but i like these Bullyland more than the majority of the recent Schleichs.

Jetoar

Nice, I would like to see them in person. In this moment I will say my opinion  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

That is the best comment yet!

Yeah, I'll never see these in person--there is nowhere in Canada that sells them, and no distributor. And, of course, they are terrible. If someone wants cheezy dinos, Schleich is widely available. If someone wants a bad marine reptile, Papo has that covered.

terrorchicken

dont like them... just as well as its very difficult to find Bullyland figures anyway.
I actually like their Disney pvcs but I aint paying 8 bucks to get a 3 inch figure shipped to me.
