I like your approach to a collection. It´s not always the expensive, exclusive stuff, sometimes charme lies in other things. This said, I would like to show some unusual stuff which I was "ashamed" of showing or "intimidated" in my collection thread.

Hello again everybody.
Here I am again to share more strage figures of the 3rd kind.
As you  can read on the first post:
Quote[...]
Instead of showing pictures of the figures almost everyone have, I'm going to focus on figures that only half of less of forum members have. So don't expect to see CollectA, Safari, Papo, etc... for now. I'll may end showing that figures other day.
And YES, I'll include some CheapOsaurus, but the ones that worth your money.

So lets begin:

Neon JP raptor. It is actually pretty well done. Unknow company to me. Flexible. Solid.

Lontic hypsilophodon and its mini version. Big is hollow and mini is solid and flexible.

A fleshed velociraptor. At first I thinked that it was an allosaurus or something like that. It has a nice texture. Solid.

The ugliest rapton ever seen (and its JP too). It has a review in the main page. Solid.

Do you collect Rebor's club eggs? I do. But before I collecteted this 2 sets. First set is hollow, secons set is solid.

Chubby T.Rex. Looks like is part of a vintage line. Nice solid heavy chubby Rex:

I was walking in a flea market when I found this upright nice retro psittacosaurus. It is hollow.

You may be aware of this one. Its the infamous pinacosaurus. Hollow.

And of course the nice Climatius toys. Solid.

The only arthropleura toy available. Solid.

And now some more not so obscure but not so widely available.
The Tamba sauropod. Solid.

The WWD Postosuchus. Solid.

The Collect Club Moa:

Extra:

This is not prehistoric. But I think can pass like a permian creature. Is there a species that comes to your mind?

Do you want to see more extrage figures? I still have some more.
And yes, i do collect Papo, Safari, Collecta, Rebor, Favorite, etc. But whats the point to share the 1,000,000th picture of the Papo Rex? Ja, ja, ja. I know I'll put the regular figures collection some day.
Guys and girls, I'd love to see your strange figures too, I become aware of some of these (sometimes unique) figures looking at your collections. So please share them in yout collection threads.

Thanks for watching!

I have the "infamous" Pinacosaurus too. >:D But their are certainly much worse Walmartosaurs out there.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

I think that Tyrannosaurus might be from the Dinosaur Warriors line (mid-late 1980s). Does it say "H-G Toys" on its belly?

Hi.
Seems you have reason, it says: "H-G INC". And thank to that info I've found the line reference images in Archinto's thread:
http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=4226.msg124968#msg124968

I have to thank you because some of the figures in the thread came from you my friend.

Bokisaurus

Interesting little figures, is it just me of is the quality of t here figures not as sharp as some Kaiyodo figures?

Roselaar

These are okay, but definitely not on par with most of Araki's previous work.

Just how mini are they, exactly?

Megalosaurus

Loooong time not see you my friends.
I'll update this thread with new pictures in the following days.
You'll get both: mainstream figures  and my favorite: less known figures.
I'm posting to say hello again, revive my thread and wish you health and happiness.

After five years of being an official Forum member, I finally stumbled across your fascinating thread avatar_Megalosaurus @Megalosaurus. Intriguing, particularly because some of your figures are unusual yet still the kind one might see in a thrift shop or second hand store or lot purchase on ebay. I look forward to your next posting of acquisitions.

sauroid

nice to see you again avatar_Megalosaurus @Megalosaurus and i missed your posts. hope to see more of your collections.
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

Megalosaurus

avatar_sauroid @sauroid Thank you, is nice to see you and others still active. I'll post asap new adquisitions.
