Megalosaurus

* Edit: Added new pictures on page 4

Hello.
Here I am to show my collection. Instead of showing pictures of the figures almost everyone have, I'm going to focus on figures that only half of less of forum members have. So don't expect to see CollectA, Safari, Papo, etc... for now. I'll may end showing that figures other day.
And YES, I'll include some CheapOsaurus, but the ones that worth your money.

To start with, behold this beauty:

Its me!
The only reason I bought it its because is a Megalosaurus. That has been my nickname in diverse forums since 12 years ago.
Jokes aside, lets begin:

Sleeping Parasaurolophus. Disney I think. So unusual to see a resting animal, and they are 2.

Protochirotherium by Bullyland. Thanks to Libraraptor.

This is the Tyrannosaurus Life Cycle, from Egg to adult. I love this set. If you know more like this, tell me please.

Chick Yuet Synthetoceras. I loved this so much that I bought 3 (with a repaint in mind).

Procinosuchus by Bullyland. "Good dog"

Bandai minidioramas(BM). I have just assembled 2 of the 5 available. They are really nice, but fffaaarrr from Kaiyodo.

(BM) Hunting Allosaurus.

(BM) Food fight velociraptors.

(BM) Feeding Tyrannosaurus.

(BM) Hunting Ichtyosaurus

(BM) Flying Pteranodon

Cheap Apatosaurus. I love the neutral colors and the pose (laying eggs or defecating may be)

Kronosaurus (TSToys?). Based on WWD liopleurodon

Nayab Placerias. Simply amazing, clearly inspired by WWD show.

Play Visions amphibians (incomplete). Help me to complete if you have spares. And a mojo Tylacine sneaked in to the photo.

Excite Smilodon. This is a nice weasel-like sabertooh. The head looks like the one of a nimravid.

This are Camptosaurus. Someone called it a Psittacosaurus, but its does't look like one to me. The pose is unusual. I love unnusual poses.

Schleich Shonisaurus. A Gliptodon and an old Quetzalcoatlus sneaked into the photo.

This are my Tamiya sets waiting to be built. The lack of space stops me to build them.

Noah's Pals Dodos Dylan & Danielle. I like this pair more than the Papo and Safari ones.

Lontic micro dinosaurs (bootleg). I was surprised to see this micro lontic figures for 2 dollars.

Comparison with the original:

Imperial Mastodon. Rescued from a flea market.

I bought this cheap rhamphorhynchus and Orthocone in the school supplies store.

I rescued this poor creature from a flea market. A lovely, but tortured TS Toys Ornithocheirus. I should repair it some day.

Styracosaurus. Cheap but very nice.

Some of my Favorite's:

My Favorite mini anomalocaris with its mom:

This is how most of my collection looks like. No space to display. Do you feel identified?

Kaiyodos, Yowies waiting its turn to be on display.

I'll post more from my collection in the future, but may not be as unnusual as those ones.
I accept figure recomendations of unusual pose / behaivor / diorama.

Thanks for watching.

P.D.- English is not my first languaje, please excuse my mistakes.

:) Great collection thanks for sharing!

Halichoeres

I also like unusual poses--breaks up the monotony of a hundred yawning theropods. Nice collection, though it breaks my heart a little to see all those Kaiyodos just languishing in plastic bags.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Great collection, those sleeping Parasaurolophus are really cute,  and I like the Bullyland Procyonosuchus a lot. Overall really interesting figures you have.

Silvanusaurus

Very interesting figures. I love unique and unusual figures like these, even when they are relatively 'low end' toys.

Roselaar

Excellent collection! Lots of lovely creatures, some quite unusual.

Thanks. I do have a few Kaiyodo figures on display at my workplace, but I have to rotate them from time to time. I will post pictures soon.

Thanks. We share that love. Some 'High end' companies may learn a couple lessons from 'low end' toys.

Is the black dinosaur in the Lontic Minis an Acro? If so, I must have one! Also, I think you should keep the Ornithocheirus as he is, gives him character. ;)

Finally an "unusual figures" thread. I really like it.
It's quite boring to see so many "collectors" threads with the usual Papo, Safari and Schleich World of History...
Congratulations!

p.s I can fully understand your "display" problems....  ;)

Yes, it is an Acrocanthosaurus. Here's a picture of some of the originals, including the Acro: http://smg.photobucket.com/user/SmilingCyclops/media/20151004_101650.jpg.html
Thank you for your suggestion of the Ornithocheirus, but the severed lower beak bugs me. I may leave the upper scar intact to keep the character. ;)

I recognize the larger version, I just haven't seen the mini. Also, is there a thread for "battle scarred" figures? as in damaged figures? If not there should be! I feel a few people on here have damaged figures that they kept just because of individuality.

I bought it from a local school suplies store here in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, México, not sure if you name it "Stationery shop". It was lying with other figures intended to be used to build geologic ages maquetes. It included false sea weeds, and cheap bad casted trilobite like chunk of plastic.
Its is made of very soft plastic. I think this is a recast of another model as it is less detailed in the underside.

Tell me more! What else besides these trilobites did they have? What type of trilobite was it? How big is that Orthocone? Those Rhamphorhynchus are pretty great too.

Pachyrhinosaurus

Lots of interesting 'new' things. Do you know what kind of ammonite that is behind the Schleich shonisaurus?

The things I mentioned came in the orthocone's bag. I need to checkout if I still have those extras to show, I considered them junk. The other geologic ages things seems to be Marx and the like models. I estimate the orthocone is around 15cm. If you want me to check if there's one of this orthocones available this weekend send me a PM and we can work on a trade or something. The ramphoryncus may be still available as well. Be aware that this is not premium quality figure.

Thank you. It is in  fact a Kaiyodo Ammonite. Not sure if it is the A or B version, I have both.

Megalosaurus

Hello again.

This time I'll show you a pair of stands I made myself to exibit small figures and fossils.

Here is the before. paper sheets trays wich are stackable. This ones were broken, so I recicled them, I cut thin wood pieces and glued them to the trays.

Here is the Kaiyodo stand.

Here's the Kaiyodo, Rebor and fossil stand.

My plan is to change the figures displayed from time to time. But I'll leave the fossils in place.

By the way, I have this stands in my workplace:

Thanks for watching.
