Nono... I'm not really a "collector" myself.

I only collect dinosaurs... dinosaurs and kaiju... and hot wheels... dinosaurs, kaiju and hot wheels... and Gundam model kits... pens... miniature trees... Elephants...

I want to collect penguins... but I don't.

Thank you. The radiation levels in this box are less radioactive than a bunch of bananas, and one of the elements (polonium) has already long since passed its half life twice so it's pretty much all gone.

I've definitely got the collector's mindset, although there aren't many things which broadly trigger it. Apart from prehistoric life, my primary collectibles are kaiju figures - Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman, and the like. Of couruse, IP-related products often tend to demand higher prices per item, so dinosaurs etc. are still my primary focus.

I do, however, also have a substantial home video collection. I decided early on that if I like a movie or TV show well enough to come back to it, I probably want to have my own copy so as not to be at the mercy of streaming or rentals. I have probably over 200 titles on Blu-ray currently, from monsters to animation to Hollywood classics and so on.
Ironically, some titles I own I've never actually watched again since purchasing... But hey, when I DO get to them at least they'll be handy, right?  :))

Brought out my SpongeBob merch (not all) to celebrate the legacy of the late Stephen Hillenburg who has left us 5 years ago

I cannot believe that Spongebob will be 25 next year!

I don't collect Spongebob but a few years ago I did come across a handsome Squidward toy at Target. I didn't get it and I've regretted it ever since. Great collection avatar_JimoAi @JimoAi !

What's funnier than 24? 25!

I think I know which handsome squidward is that. The master piece memes figures. shame they haven't been making more and wave 2 is very elusive as I would like to have the dabbing squidward. Wave one including handsome squidward can be found off Amazon iirc.

Youtooz has been making the meme figures now and they're more scale conscious at the 4 inch scale though they're not in scale with one another IE Plankton at the same height of Spongebob

For figures I'ld like to get that aren't animal/Dino's related (though they're based on animals for the most of them)

Nendoroid Aang

Splatoon Amiibo Pearl and Marina

Pokemon scale world skeleridge

Suepr7 Ultimates Squidward and Patrick

Nendoroid Patrick

Am also a big splatoon fan myself. A quick context: despite the leading characters looking like humans, they are mostly Squids and Octopus and the franchise takes place 10000 years in the future after humanity and mammals has gone extinct thus the cephalopods evolving to look like humans and from what I've heard from the lore, they live longer now and they dont have bones. From what I've played and seen, some characters like Mo the Clownfish, Master Mega the Megalodon and Big Man, which I have gotten here, the Manta ray who actually looks more like a cownose ray, don't change too much despite living out of the water. Anyways I just wanted to get another Big man to keep sealed but the store didn't have any so I settled on the 3 pack.

Yes, you're right. I looked it up and its the Masterpiece Meme figure. In which case I see that it's on eBay for a decent price. Awesome!

I collect Marvel Legends, Alien/Predator figures from NECA, Star Wars The Black Series, and some Mezco 1:12 figures (mostly DC)

iv got lots of other figures ,some prehistoric replica skulls and stacks of videogame magazines..also im a casual gamer so iv got alot of ps1,ps2 and ps3,ps4 games stored in racks..collecting prehistoric models is my main interest,i try to acquire a few life size skulls of prehistoric animals each year, but they are very expensive so i only have a few of them...
The smaller replica skulls and teeth can be found in them kids model kits were you dig them out of sand...they are museum quality and cheaper than getting them from a specialist site..

i collect lots else: all of it 1/18 scale.  Diecast cars, airplanes, armour, construction/agricultural machines and sci fi,.  Pretty much anything that interests me so long as it's 1/18 scale.  It sounds like a lot but in reality it's only cars and sci fi that have large volumes in 1/18 and i'm somewhat selective with those.  There are only a small number of aircraft, armoured vehicles and construction/agricultural machines available that are 1/18.

About 30% of my collection are animal/dinosaur figures.
