Rebor: Bingo
QuoteFB User: WOW! This looks amazing already! The physical model is going to be beautiful
Rebor: Even better! The body will be made of soft rubber plastic and inserted with bendy wire so basically it will be like a real snake ;)

QuoteFB User: People have been saying this will a meter and a half long, is that true?If so, I'm actually REALLY excited for this. I hope the plastic is heavy enough it will actually feel real in your hands. I absolutely hope they don't back out and make it smaller (I also hope they give it colours of a modern species so I can use it as a 1:1 stand-in).
Rebor: That X1.5 means nothing mate lol, the actual product will be in 1:35 scale so around 56cm, still a quite large figure

07/20/17:
QuoteFB User: I feel like it does have quite a striking resemblance to an Anaconda?
Rebor: The head totally look like an anaconda's, perhaps it's just because those "angry eyebrows" we added ;)

FB User: Ok, I see the resemblance. Take a way the "angry eyebrows" and it would look pretty much perfect.
Rebor: Then again it's a REBOR product... life is boring anyway so we will always choose "badassness" over accuracy ;)

B. Biggus
C. Incontinentia
QuoteFB User: can u make it in a coiling post?
Rebor: The whole body is bendable
FB User: wow this is innovative, pioneering!
Rebor: Of course! It's a REBOR product ;)

"Badassness." Oh, Rebor, you never cease to entertain me.

AcroSauroTaurus

I was the one asking about the sculpts resemblance to a real Anaconda, yah its kind of a shame they won't remove the "eyebrows" but you can always remove them when you get the figure. Also, for those wondering if they would ever make a dragon, they said "its impossible to top McFarlane's Dragon series, so we won't even try..."

This is exactly what's wrong with Rebor.
Well, at least they are self aware...

Faelrin

Didn't they claim at one point that their products are supposed to be "awesomebro"?

Good thing it's a six-inch figure. I thought a titanoboa of a meter and a half was too large.

Faelrin

They said it would be around 56cm. 56cm is a bit larger then 6 inches. Closer to 22 (assuming the google conversion is accurate).

Well I meant that the titanoboa is 56 centimeters, I expressed badly.

Ok, Titanoboa is a nice idea, but I feel like the bendy feature is not necessary. It'll make the figure less durable than a standard one. Another Rebor product I'm not going to buy. Hope that Papo will keep on following Rebor's steps and make a fierce looking Titanoboa in their own style.

After looking at the attached image of the Anaconda, I would say the Titanboa looks pretty accurate (assuming the Titanboa actually resembled the Anaconda). Heck, even the eyebrows aren't all that pronounced.

My mom and aunts are afraid of snakes so I might have to pick it up at some point.

It would be nice if the snake had a growing function. Just toss it in the bathtub and watch the snake grow!

Faelrin

So Rebor added some vestigial limbs to the Titanoboa, which is an interesting touch. I don't know if it did or would have had them though (I'm quite ignorant on this one, as well as snake evolution in general).

Interesting...But I think Titanoboa didn't have vestigial limbs since it's been millions of years that snakes lost their legs.Rebor really does weird stuff,it's not even what you call "Badassness" ???

Actually, most if not all constricting snakes have vestigial legs that the males use to grip onto the female when mating, so Rebor is accurate in that regard.

Wait, what?! Rebor is actually considering accuracy in a figure now?! I must be dreaming!

Shonisaurus

Hopefully it will be available in the market in a short time. I like this snake.  :)

Why did I only knew this now? Thanks for the picture though :)

Faelrin

Wow I didn't know this either. That's really fascinating. I got to give Rebor props for including them.
