I'm looking for a good carcha model specifically and the only one I found is from mo models at $300 dollars so I'll be holding off for a bit until I find or someone knows of a good one that's not safari or collects. Thank you!

The 2016 WS Carcharodontosaurus and the 2014 Deluxe CollectA are both very nice. Beyond those, I don't know of any.

Judging by a post this user has made in the Papo: New for 2018 thread, I don't think he/she likes the Safari Ltd Carcharodontosaurus at all.

I got it regardless since they did make a great giga model imo it makes up for papos lack of a giga this year. Im just a little underwhelmed by the lack of carchas and the best one is from mo models and I found one from Ali express but its like it doesn't even exist. Look up carcharodontosaurus by trilobite studios.

The collecta carcharadontosaurus is the only other mass-retail option for a figure than the safari. the only decent mass retail mapusaurus is the old collecta deluxe figure, though, it still looks like it was sculpted of soap.

There's a head-only model of Carcharodontosaurus from these guys: https://www.facebook.com/BRSculptures/

The only other toy Mapusaurus I know is the one from the Dinosaurs of Gondwana exhibit in Japan in 2009. It's pretty hard to find, though, and isn't super detailed or realistic. Not cartoony, exactly, but definitely stylized.

I don't think it's what you're looking for but there's the original, 1996 Safari Carcharodontosaurus.

Here you go:

Along with the Nigersaurus from the same set, and Lego Homer for scale.

That Lego Homer would have to be Andre the Giant to be in that scale with those dinosaurs!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

L to R:  Wilt Chamberlain, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Andre (The Giant) Rousimoff - from the set of "Conan the Barbarian"..

Hey you're that guy I saw on the vitae giganotosaurus thread. I tried to see about it from hk since you said it costed you $80 but it seems they raised it to total $95 and $110 on eBay which is outrageous considering its not a model kit like the mo models giga. I spoke to the sculptor and the giga models have been delayed till end of month due to a factory worker resigning last month last I spoke to him so idk how much the actual sculptor will charge for the limited edition.

Syndicate Bias

I guess I'll settle for the mo models one then the head sculpt one for a carcha those are great, I hope papo or rebor or vitae tackle a carcha someday even if its just a monster from papo I'll take it I don't think they can mess up a carcha, as for rebor the struggle with big feet and oversized scales might ruin it tho like the acro. As for vitae I'm.definitely getting their giga and if papo has one as their last show for 2018 I'll get it too. I wonder if there's any better gigas for.model kits and maybe toys I haven't seen before. I had the resaurus one and I have the safari 2017 and.the Carnegie so I hope more carcha and giga and mapu models come out. Shape ways has a lot of carchas and gigas and mapus but they are just a 3d printed thing so eh. Also I heard from you there was a carcha on.the way from pnso, when will I happen?

Dinosaurs of Gondwana figures seems very nice. are there more species or just these two? I have never seen them before. I feel a little bit jealous now :D are there images of the other Gondwana figures by any chances? I would be appreciated if you could show them.

Shonisaurus

Collecta's carcharodontosaurus is a fairly decent figure of considerable size. Apart from that and Safari I do not know any other independently of the others mentioned.

I think there were three figures. The third was a Cryolophosaurus (so the set covered 3 of the 6 major Gondwanan fragments), but I don't have it. I actually was thinking of trading/selling these two, so keep an eye on my trade thread.

I am but it is out of reach until January for me i spend most of my money on holiday decorations and the hundreds of gifts for the whole fam.  But I will be getting it since its the best Mapusaurus and it is much better than the old one in the sense that its tolerable to put on my shelf  :)

how about this one?

You know I like this model, it has what i wish the Sean cooper one had which is the pose. Im.still deciding on it since that same guy who made it made a Carcharodontosaurus skeleton which i also love so its getting hard to pick especially since theres also that head bust that is extremely detailed and then theres these two kits from trilobite studio but one is out of print and thats the one i wanted most. And the second is too mummified looking so i dunno yet.

I was hoping Shane Foulkes would have given some sneak peeks at his planned 1/15th scale Carcharodontosaurus.
