A thread for extant animal toys that are not birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, or antelopes?

Here are my AAA pangolin babies, to start. I just adore them! The big one is 14" long, both are cast from real specimens:

Aww! ^-^ I recently bought the small pangolin baby but I didn't know that there's a larger version, too!

One of my favourite things by Colorata is this one (from "Endangered Animals - Wild Animals Vol. 1") especially because there's a Colugo that comes with it:

Cynocephalus (=Galeopterus) variegatus Audebert, 1799 - Sunda Flying Lemur; Pteropus giganteus (Brünnich, 1782) - Indian Flying Fox; Pongo pygmaeus (Linnaeus, 1760) - Bornean Orangutan.

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a T-rex by Krentz? My friends all have Sideshow, I must make amends.

I'll be honest, the dermopteran was pretty much my motivation for getting the whole pink-box set.

Hehe, same here. :) I bought a used set via Jauce for 450 yen (missing the yellow-footed rock wallaby, though).

I got mine from ig88droid on ebay (along with a bunch of others).  In mine, the lemur is missing the baby on its back.  Not a huge concern, but odd (the box was still factory sealed!).

Oh! I didnt realize they could glide.

That's what the patagium is for--and why they are also known as flying lemurs (although not lemurs at all, of course).

Here is my most recent acquisition, a 1:1 scale replica of an amazon river dolphin (the front half only). The figure is a prop, purportedly from the movie cocoon. It has mechanics inside that allow the mouth to be opened and closed by pulling or pushing a lever. The figure is 41 inches tall (aprx 1 meter). These pictures are from the previous owner:

somewhat off topic but I had to ask Pam, where did you find your new quote from? Or is that something you said? It is hilarious and yet so true.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Lol, its just something I thought of the other day. My older figures, the older carnegies in particular, have a very distinct smell. My living room smells like them now, and it really is much more pleasing to me than the scent of any air freshener.

Well put it in quotes, sign your name to it and go with it, its brilliant. Caught myself repeating it to someone I work with today who asked me...what is it with you and dinosaurs? well....my friend...let me explain.......

If I repeated it to anyone at work, I imagine they would just laugh nervously and then pretend to be very busy with something else.

I'd post a picture of my Club Earth Extinct Animal toys, but I'm afraid they're in a box somewhere or lost.  Makes me wish more toy lines would release figures for non-fossil extinct animals (aurochs, thylacine, dodo, auk, sea cow, etc)

Jetoar

Wonderful acquisitions Seijun. The dolphin is very big and pangolins are very cute. I saw these figures of pangolins in a Zoo when I was a child but I dont see these figures currently  :-\.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?
