Not bad, I like it too.

Shonisaurus

I hope that it is painted in an excellent way, although we know that it is not scientific it seems to be a very well finished figure and that for me matters a lot.  :)

tanystropheus

Looking good. Hope they make a Gigantopithecus.

Syndicate Bias

i hope they make a giganotosaurus or carcharodontosaurus

Paleodude

I think what's strange to me is them even calling it a Tyrannosaurus rex in the first place. The IP of King Kong has been in the public domain for decades and they could have easily named it Skull Island Theropod or something else.

I honestly would not mind if that animal was called by its name, as if it were called vastatosaurus, as if it were an Indomimus rex. That would not be an impediment for him to buy his figures. I totally agree with you Paleodude to be called those figures by their real name.

copyright issues i believe is why they didn't

It's not a bad design, but...I'm just not interested in yet another Tyrannosaur, especially not one based on the King Kong dinosaur.  If I add more models of certain species, it needs to be an Acrocanthosaurus, Allosaurus, or Dilophosaurus.  This doesn't interest me much.  And paraphrasing Jim Gordon from The Dark Knight doesn't make your statement immediately good.

well you got your wish, they're making a dilo now. Now lets hope you're right about the allo

Mrs Vanilla Ice do not really encounter my flavouring.

But have you heared something about the Rebor Killer Queen?

Found this in the internet:

Hello gnetum2015, there's some information and photographs about Killer Queen in the Rebor General Discussion thread  ^-^
*modified, here's the link to that discussion http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=3099.2620

No they're not.  They're making a genetically engineered theme park mutated Dilophosaurus.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

gnetum2015

Hello Minmiminime,
thanks a lot for the note of the otherv threat!

And yes, like in that discussion was noticed, the arms of Killer Queen are strange - Bummer!
But maybe Rebor will revise the Queen before editing - she could be a good supplement to PNSOs Wilson, maybe, if Rebor would work on her ...

Minmiminime

No problem ^-^ A lot of Rebor models do look odd in the arm department. Rebor aren't really accepting of any constructive feedback, but I suppose it's possible that they'll modify it

Ill just drop this here since its been a few days and no one has said anything about it

Shonisaurus

That's Rebor's new tyrannosaurus, I suppose maybe they'll commercialize it after the premiere of the latest Jurassic Park movie "The Fallen Kingdom" on the big screens in the US. It is a great figure and sincerely the arms are smaller than the representations of tyrannosaurus rex based on the Jurassic Park has us accustomed.

From my point of view it is a great work of art and the positive of the figure is that it is not as articulated as other Rebor figures.

ItsTwentyBelow

This model is pretty ridiculous. It's not a Tyrannosaurus, so why are people calling it one? It's a "Vastatosaurus" from the 2005 King Kong film. While I do enjoy that movie an awful lot, I have never felt the want or need for a model of any of the fictitious animals seen.

They are monsters, much more so than anything Dr. Grant ever witnessed in Jurassic Park. Why did Rebor think there would be a market for this?

I gave Rebor a try years ago when I bought the Ceratosaurus and Compsognathus, and while there was a time when I wanted their Dimorphodon pair too, I decided to put those monies toward the better researched Collecta deluxe Dimorphodon in the end. Rebor just ain't worth the money. I have neither of those models on display anymore.

Sorry Rebor fans, that is my objective point of view.  ^-^

Syndicate Bias

Nah, its both objective in some parts and subjective in others i loved the KK film as much as i had the toy for the v rex that ate humans and is now 300+ dollars. This is to me fan service for those of us who know its not a real dinosaur but its still something i don't mind having. Now putting it next to my dinosaurs is one thing. Either way there is a market for it. You just aren't one of them

Shadowknight1

Objectively, they shouldn't be marketing it as a T-rex when it clearly isn't.  What's next, a model of the Rathalos from Monster Hunter, but calling it a Quetzalcoatlus?
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

Syndicate Bias

Don't know. Honestly as far as Rebor goes their older models interest me more. The Anky now available on Ebay is starting to grow on me. As Vastasaurus goes. I think there's copyright issues with that this why they haven't but i don't know i just see the comments about it on FB. Definitely not something i ever expected but ill get it since it will replace my childhood toy that is now 300 or more dollars on Ebay  :-\

As far as the JP Rex I'm sick of seeing such an overrated dinosaur everywhere. The t rex is literally getting a new scholarship every year and this year there's rebor and itoy and a few other making more. Wish maybe Torvosaurus or Saurophaganax or some other carnivore got the spotlight. But that's just my subjective opinion. I'm sure there's t rex fans who love to get them all.

As for the dilo, i will say it wouldn't hurt to do a bit of research on its skull and crests, i dont know much about it but i think 5 minutes of googling would've helped make that dilo better
