Such a shame they reused the Owen from the baby blue set. They could've at least given us a "dino trainer Owen" or the "lockwood battle Owen". The grey galli is a little weird, however the red raptor is a nice addition to the raptor pack.
But darn, while I do like the new releases, Mattel is not making it easy for people to track all the stuff down.

Where did you find this?

Cretaceous Crab

One thing I have noticed is that the action attack & attack pack raptor figures are pretty much to scale with the Papo Velociraptors. My son uses all of them together to increase his "pack."

THIS IS A KOHL'S EXCLUSIVE. Geez, they're REALLY making it hard to grab them all.

@Flaffy I find a TON of the new stuff on Instagram. Seems like some users have an inside source on there. It's how I found the Spinosaurus.

Dilopho

Man, I wonder if half this stuff will make it to the UK.

I kinda wish they'd just make a pack of compies and sell it for the price of a regular figure, like what Dr Who did with the "cybermats"

Wouldn't that be nice?

Paleona

Does anyone own all three of the large T. rex's? (Legacy Extreme Chompin', Thrash 'n Throw, Super Colossal- either the basic one, or the Walmart electronic exclusive)
I reeeaaally want to hold out for the Super Colossal, I mean, she's huge!! But they all look pretty fantastic, and the giant rexy is sold out pretty much everywhere. I've only seen the Thrash 'n Throw in person, so it would be nice to see a comparison of the three all together!

I don't own them, but I have seen all in person.  They're all pretty great.  My biggest issue with the Extreme Chompin' rex is the tongue.  And the Walmart exclusive needs a repaint to get rid of the weird red "battle damage"(looks more like war paint to me...).
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

updated the first post, kudos to MLMjp for the help.

I own all three Rexes, all are well detailed, my opinions are simple :

Colossal :  Plus it's Huge, Minus it's so big it's display only really.  Walmart exc. : plus sound. minus ugly red paint
Thrash and Throw : Plus bigger than the Chompin, great motion Minus, can't hold a pose
Chomping:  Plus really poseable only a little smaller than the T&T, holds poses Minus no electronic features

Paleona

@Shadowknight1 : I was thinking of getting the Chompin' one if it takes too long for the Colossals to restock- but the tongue kind of bothers me, too! The Thrash 'n Throw's articulation seems to be both a blessing and a curse; very fun to mess around with, but the seams are a little unsightly. Nowhere near as bad as... screw holes... though, lol

@Blade-of-the-Moon : Thanks for your sharing your thoughts! I think I'll still try and get my hands on a Colossal, it's just such a trophy. No idea where I'll keep it, though, haha, maybe it can just guard my living room? Hopefully I can see the Chompin' in person next time I go to Target. Really, they all seem like winners!

Reptilia

Thanks for updating the original post Blade! Well, now my first reply to this topic sounds rather silly...  :))

I'm starting to think I should probably just go with the Extreme Chomping one if I had to pick just one for now. I mean it's cheaper, and has more articulation, and is going to be in the same size range as the Spinosaurus. It isn't entirely in scale as the Thrash and Throw, and no electronics, but let's be honest I wouldn't be making much use of that anyways (as much as I love those JP dinosaur sounds). I mean it's not like I couldn't get the Thrash and Throw down the road anyways, and then have best of both.

Edit: It is only slightly bigger then the Carnotaurus and/or Hasbro Chomping rex correct? It looked as much from the videos I've seen.

Yeah, I'm considering buying the Chompin', too... I got an email from Target saying the Colossal was back in stock, but when I clicked the link, it already says sold out again?? (email was sent while I was sleeping, so it apparently sold out in the span of like 6 hours) Really frustrating, if it's being hawked that badly.

Can someone please post a comparison photo of the three Rexies?

Blade-of-the-Moon

I wouldn't be too concerned with scale between the Thrash and Throw and the Chomping Rex.  The Chomping one is supposed to represent Rexy as she was in Jurassic Park so she is quite a bit younger then ,  than she is in JW which is what the Thrash and Throw represents.    If they end up making the green Bull Rex for the Legacy line it will likely be a Chomping repaint and then will scale nicely with the larger female T&T one.  Same for scaling it with Spiney,  that was a young green/Bull Rex he took down in JP3.

Appalachiosaurus

I really like the Chompin' Rex, but it is just too small. It's barely bigger than the Carnotaurus, and in 1:20 scale, it's only about 32ft long. The younger Rexy excuse doesn't really work given that she was 40ft exactly in both movies, which makes the TnT much better in scale (about 38ft in 1:20). You could always use the excuse that it's a subadult (maybe one of the 3 rexes we didn't see on site B?), but if you're really worried about how everything will look standing next to each other i'd get the TnT first and foremost.

Sorry about the wait, I've been traveling for a bit. To all (Paleona) looking for a comparison...

That's the Extreme Chompin.  The Monolophosaurus looks pretty darn good, as a side note.

Paleona

Thank you, mgaguilar!! I think I'm even more determined to get the Colossal now, haha.

Oh, the irony!

What I think is excessive is the amount of variations. I mean, according to the app there are ELEVEN raptor variants (and that is without counting Blue), SIX Dilophosaurus, EIGHT Gallimimus and SEVEN Pteranodons. Also, how many times are going to give us the exact same Extreme Chompin´ rex? There is already three, in the regular line, in the legacy line and in the battle damage line....Should I ask if there is also another one for the Destructasaurus or I should ask if there is NOT going to be one?

Do we really need that amount of color variations and different versions of a same Creature? Could have they spend their budget in...lets say...a Roarivore Parasaurolophus?
EDIT: Also lesss variants will mean less money to expend :)

I still want to know just what that thing is tit comes with? A red Tardis? A pencil holder?   I would have paid double for a destructible restroom with Gennero.
