For me this is a tough one to say because Doug so recently did the psittacosaurus which I had clamored for. Then schleich stepped up  unexpectedly and did a fairly decent psittacosaurus as well.
  I guess for me...
I was saddened the new terra/battat Plateosaurus never made it to the market, as it is one I lobbied Dan often and hard for. So I would have to go with that...followed by normal standing preferences.
Protoceratops-someone please do one fairly decent mid-scale model of this dinosaur that is generally availible,  fairly acurate
Arachaeoceratops, aquilops, undanoceratops, yinlong, pegomastax, micro pachycephalosaurus, sinoceratops, wendiceratops, and why not a really nicely done torosaurus ?
For the anklosaurids and nodosaurids, I would love to see the new canadian specimen done as a model,  Zuul crurivastator—"Zuul, destroyer of shins"—after the monster in the film Ghostbusters.)
and the jurassic member of this family which would be easy to get a consultation on from Dr Carpenter, gargoyleosaurus!
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Protoceratops or any other small ceratopsian would certainly be a welcome change from all these large ones. Leptoceratops would be my personal preference.

If there really is a Stegosaurus in the works for 2019, then I hope it's similar to Scott Hartman's reconstruction, which is based on the famous Sophie specimen:

In terms of sauropods, I'd love to see a little one like Europasaurus, Dicraeosaurus, or Brachytrachelopan—as long as it's not oversized like the Amargasaurus. As far as big ones go, I think Turiasaurus would be a cool and unique choice. It's the largest known European dinosaur, but I'd never heard of it until recently.

I agree with the post above, after so much representation of the species, it would be nice to get a definitive version of stegosaurus based on Sophie. With both the tricerstops and ankylosaurus baring the most scientific rigor out of any of the current competition, it would be awesome for the roofed lizard to get the same treatment. I also feel the same for allosaurus, for an animal done so often, most figures based on it fall flat of giving justice to the theropod. Often making it look more like a generic theropod. I would also like to see more tyrannosaur figures besides tyrannosaurus. There's not a lot of good figures of albertosaurus, daspetosaurus, gorgosaurus, etc.

Shonisaurus

Another dinosaur Safari could do is the hadrosaur based on the mummified remains of "Dakota." It is known what the volume of said animal was. On the other hand a guanlong reissued by Safari and improved as the anzu would be interesting to make the company Safari.

Great suggestions everyone!

Assuming Safari continues their pattern, I hope/predict the following:

6 Dinos:
- Stegosaurus: Echoing the above sentiments, there isn't a really good Stego widely available.  I'm sure Doug would knock it out of the park!  ;)
- Allosaurus: Same thought process as Stegosaurus.
- Plateosaurus or another "prosauropod": These are thin on the ground, and good ones are even rarer.  Both Doug and the mystery sculptor would be well suited to sculpt this one.
- Pentaceratops or another long-frilled chasmosaurine: Hard to believe, but we haven't had one of these since Vagaceratops!
- Edmontosaurus: To continue to round out the collection's Hell Creek fauna.  Hopefully nice and large.
- Saurornitholestes or another large troodontid: Nice and feathery!

And 6 non-dinos, this time with the focus off synapsids:
- Ophthalmosaurus: Ichthyosaurs are the only major clade of marine reptiles not represented in the Safari line (well, them and turtles...)
- Sebecus or a relative: To go with the influx of Cenozoic mammals?
- Caviramus: Awesome looking long-tailed pterosaur.
- Jaekelopterus: Who wouldn't love a giant sea scorpion?!
- Pelagornis: Another awesome Cenozoic beast, maybe sculpted by the mystery sculptor.
- Silesaurus: Could Safari give us our very first toy proto-dinosaur?

ceratopsian

Silesaurus is an excellent idea. I would love to see one.

Lanthanotus

I'd really like to see a Safari Plateosaurus or other Prosauropod in a bipedal stance as theropods are usually depicted... and... while I find appraoching new species more interesting in general, I'd also hope for the Jurassic pair of Stegosaurus and Allosaurus

By the way we forgot a quite important tireoforo: the edmontonia, except the fabulous Edmontonia Battat, the Schleich (which was also very good) and Collecta whose figure is to take into account, among others have not made many figures of that magnificent dinosaur from the nodosaurus family. Safari has not yet done any and if it was done by Doug Watson and with the same artistic height of the Safari 2018 ankylosaurus or Safari triceratops 2018 (although it does not belong to that family) it would be great

IrritatorRaji

More than anything else, I wanna see Safari make a Eustreptospondylus

AcroSauroTaurus

Styracosaurus
Protoceratops
Stegosaurus
Allosaurus
Dilophosaurus
Brachiosaurus
Saltasaurus
Baryonyx
Spinosaurus
Hypacrosaurus
Mamenchisaurus
Therizinosaurus
Yangchuanosaurus
Acrocanthosaurus
Rhamphorhynchus

New Species:
Coronosaurus
Wendiceratops
Centrosaurus
Machairoceratops(Diabloceratops) cronusi
Tsintaosaurus
Shantungosaurus
Kulindadromeus
Olorotitan
Synthetoceras
Megaloceros
Deinotherium
Carnotaurus
This list could go on, but I'm going to end it here. ;)
I am the Dinosaur King!

paintingdinos

A Doug Watson Styracosaurus would be my #1, but a decently sized Protoceratops would be really nice. Maybe another feathered tyrannosaur (Gorgosaurus?).

Also, a decently sized and adequately fluffly (or at the very least not horribly emaciated) g. sternbergi would be grand.

Joey

My hopes would be:
1: An updated Stegosaurus by the very talented Doug Watson.
2: Another Ceratopsian (Preferably a Centrosaurid) by Doug Watson.
3: A large Sauropod (Maybe an updated Brachiosaurus?) By either Doug or the mystery sculpter.
4: A new and updated Acrocanthosaurus to replace the old 2012 model and since in that time span, the Carnegie line retired, the Carnegie one. By either Doug or the mystery sculpter.
5. An updated Pachycephalosaurus (to add on to the Hell Creek Collection by Safari, as I like to call it) by Doug or the mystery sculpter.
5. An updated Edmontosaurus with a head crest and larger (maybe 1:35) size.
6. I also agree with paintingdinos, I would also like to see another feathered Tyrannosaur ( Daspletosaurus or updated Gorgosaurus) by Doug or the mystery sculpter.
7. And why not Safari's first Abelisaurid! (Maybe a Carnotosaurus, but preferably a less popular species like, a Majungosaurus or Rugops).
And that's my list, hopefully some of these come to fruition in 2019.

Do we have enough skeletal material for Rugops to consider it fairly  well known ?

Yeah, I didn't think about that, it was only a suggestion though, so it's on Safari to decide.

Jose S.M.

An abelisaurid that has fairly complete remains is Skorpiovenator, it's very "exotic", I didn't knew about it until Planet Dinosaur featured it.

Oh I quite agree, nothing wrong with making a suggestion ....I was just stating something that a few of the designers for these figures have said in the past, regardless if for Safari or Terra...that they tend to prefer animals that have enough material known to be fairly certain of the figure they are creating.
Collecta seems perhaps more bold in that ideal and sometimes seem to make animals known from more partial remains however.

I think a lot of my wishes overlap with everyone else's.

-A new Stegosaurus and Allosaurus would be most welcome - I'm sure Doug Watson and Safari's other sculptor* could certainly produce the definitive toy versions of these dinosaurs.
-Since Dan LoRusso's repaint might never see the light of day, a Gastonia would be pretty cool to go with Watson's Sauropelta. How about a big, fluffy Utahraptor to go side by side?
-Speaking of "raptors", Deinonychus, Troodon**, Buitreraptor and Dakotaraptor could desperately use Safari's love.
-I want a big sauropod - a BIG, big sauropod, like Argentinosaurus or Dreadnoughtus, that was enormous in life and would be enormous in toy form. I don't care if it costs $50; give me a long-neck to tower over my collection!

...But don't give dinosaurs all the love...
-Why aren't there more Placerias figures? One of these would be great to go with Safari's excellent Postosuchus & Coelophysis.
-A new Pteranodon seems due - or, better yet, two Pteranodons - walking and flying versions! Each could be a different gender, too.
-While we're on pterosaurs, I'd love a big, walking Hatzegopteryx based on Mark Witton's findings.
-How about an Edaphosaurus to go with this year's Dimetrodon?
-...And yeah, some amphibians would be nice. I vote Eryops and Koolasuchus.

Safari really needs to overhaul their dinosaur toobs, too. Besides the Feathered toob, all the mini dinos are looking well out-of-date. More prehistoric variety besides dinosaurs would also be welcome - at least a pterosaur toob would be nice.

*Actually, how long has this other sculptor been active? Could they have done the 2007 Allosaurus? I think there are noticeable aesthetic similarities between it and the 2017 Giganotosaurus.

**Or, Stenonychosaurus?

Yes, I completely agree

Neosodon

An abelisaur would certainly be nice. I would be fine with a remake of the Carnegie Carnotorus. Something Triassic like a Desmatosuchus or Placerias would be great too.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

When it comes to Abelisaurs, I feel like Carnotosaurus gets represented the most with having One very accurate Terra figure, Three Carnegie figures (one of which is a repaint of the other, and one that is very accurate), One fairly accurate Papo figure and One Natural History Museum figure. I just feel like there are plenty of Carnotaurus figures, and no love for other Abelisaurs, although that is definetly not to say that Safari can't make an exceedingly great Carnotaurus figure, there just needs to be more love for other Abelisaurids.
