One of those photos RGF saved shows the fabled Mesosaurus! That's a species I'd like to see made again.

If only Mr Silva cast these...I have already requested a few fishes from him, but he makes each one fresh, an expensive process. I should have known he'd make a Mesosaurus, though, since it's been found in Brazil.

I can see the entire post within one screen, and one photo is hardly "many".

Agreed.  C:-) In any case, I request that members report posts to moderators rather than attempt to moderate themselves (because it is essentially taking the thread off-topic) - Thanks! C:-)

Bokisaurus

Glad this got revived. Beautiful models indeed. I have a few of them large ones as well as some of the smaller ones.

I think this was a potential prototype sculpted by kaiyodo for the line.

Well that's what I was told when I purchased it. My be I'm just gullible. Still a lovely well crafted and unique figure.

1/20 Tyrannosaurus rex- Shinobu Matsumura? - mine is the Chocolasaurs prize version

If you'd like to see the Allosaurus version of the 2002 Chocolasaurs prize winning edition -
here it is - this time in an actual sale ( for about 250$ ) :
https://item.mercari.com/jp/m46652492718/

Seller was kind enough to add the appropriate page in the Chocolasaurs book, where the figure is described.
It is the rarest of the three 2002 Chocolasaurs prize edition and almost always goes for over 200$ ( sometimes 300$ ) :

( p.s. - I think I once saw a 'Creative beasts' built up Acro. painted in this manner ... )

Hi,
Sorry to be so late to getting around to this but I often have a hard time getting onto the computer where my pictures are stored.  These are the 1/35 Dinoland Allosaurus and Camarasaurus.  I got them back in the mid-90's.  The Allosaurus had a metal support but I put a rod in its leg and used the support for something else.   I can post better images if anyone is interested, but I would have to take them.

I also have the Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops from that series.  They are built but I never got around to painting them.  I can still post pictures, but first I have to take them...

They're all out of production and therefore rare, just some more than others. It depends on which ones you're interested in. If you're lucky, you can get the commoner ones for $100 or so.  It's not unusual for the very rare ones to go for more than $500.

BrontoScorpio

Here's something that is rare, and apparently very expensive ... ( just sold for 900$ as a Kit ) :

It tooks me a long time searching on yahoo JP and ebay. finally I got it by my friend on yahoo JP. The pterosaurs series are really hard to find, I tried to search the second-hand shop in Osaka but nothing found.
About painting job...Try to process them like spraying military models. Animals always have more complex color changes and more color levels. This will require patience.

I don't get it :
Just sold for 3300$ :
several broken DINOLAND Dioramas with missing parts :

- Have they noticed the big rearing Barosaurus is missing it's head and upper neck ?
- The Velociraptor holding a Lizard(?) diorama is missing the Velociraptor ...

Is the buyer a DTF member ?

Over9K

I've had the OG Dinoland pre-paint since the early 90's... got the Chocolasaurus ver. in '05, I think... I feel like I've been chasing the "Striding" T. rex and the running T. rex skeleton kit for more than half my life...
