JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION---new sequel photo shows Bryce Dallas Howard examining baby dinosaurs.

Flaffy

Pretty sure that isn't Bryce, nor are they babies.

"new sequel photo" is literally the only thing right here.

FLAFFY:

It didn't look like Bryce Dallas Howard to me either, so before I posted the photo, I checked the original source again, and it stated it is Bryce Dallas Howard.
So maybe the original photo source is wrong.

CityRaptor

Obviously the source is wrong. These aren't "baby dinosaurs" either, they are Compies.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I just hope Sam and Laura won't be glorified cameos. I would really enjoy a movie just focusing on Alan and Ellie, without the two of them getting together of course since Ellie was already living that sweet family life in JP3.

That set photo in the Arctic makes me hopeful for some shenanigans à la The Thing from Another World. "One person here was infected by dino DNA" :P

Since Jurassic World was never intended to be accurate, this would be okay i guess. My expectations are so low, i hope this helps to kind of "enjoy" the Movie. But yes, a Focus on Alan and Allie would be quite nice. I would be okay with fanservice. In the End i just hope for Dinosaurs in natural enviroment. I think, thats all i want to see. Not Dinosaurs rampaging through manmade Stuff. The small Hint in the End of Battle at Big Rock was the Best JP/JW Stuff since. Since the 90s. To me. :D

I think Sam Neill said they have bigger roles throughout the movie, not a cameo.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Bit of a spoiler.

Spoiler
Apparently a tourist staying in Malta, was able to watch part of filming of a scene that showed Owen on a moped being chased by dinosaurs, they used a couple prop heads and it looks to be a new species. I've see Pyroraptor mentioned and even Herrerasaurus. Pic:   There is another pic showing a second head with a different color variation.

I don't think these are the actual animatronics for the movie, they look way too cheap. They are probably for a reference from the actors to look at while they are filming. I think it was meant to be animatronic, but I heard they are pulling back on using them in the movie. They probably just touched up the prototype in favor of a reference point.

If this is representing a true dinosaur in the movie, it's probably a Tiger Raptor. We saw a Mattel listing for that in the "leaked" list.

Putting my thoughts on it in a spoiler tag.

Spoiler
The coloration is certainly beautiful, if a bit similar to the raptors in the Lost World. The head shape honestly reminds me of the Kenner Utahraptor. I'm thinking it could be the Pyroraptor. I suppose it would probably be too early to say if this would be feathered or not (if it is one of the new dromaeosaurids), just because it is a prop head, but with this franchise its best I keep my expectations low (such as none, or eh something minimal like Ark's or Schleich's raptors), but that's if this is the Pyroraptor. Still exciting to have another dromaeosaurid in this franchise, even if a relatively fragmentary one.

Looks like my prediction was correct.

Looks like these are references for the actors, for they have pole for people to hold. Also I believe my prediction for them being Raptors is also correct, due to the new white and black one looking like the female Velociraptor from JP3. Really excited about the return of these classic raptors.

JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION---Jeff Goldblum commented on reuniting with Sam Neill and Laura Dern for the sequel, "The first thing that we shot ... it was a scene with me and Laura Dern and Sam Neill and we were — I can't tell you much — but we were all day in a very tight, enclosed space. You'll see — it's a mystery you'll solve when you see [the movie.] The three of us were in a tiny little space and we were being menaced by — I can't even tell you — a surprising faction of prehistoric creatures that you've never seen before."
A source released photos of one of DOMINION's  new dinosaurs, a Pyroraptor, "Looks Like This Might Be Jurassic World Dominion's Pyroraptor Which I Reported On A Few Months Back. Now this is just a maquette not an animatronic so it's used for reference and the design might change for the final film."

So much for keeping things under the "spoilers" tag   O:-)

But regardless thanks for sharing the news, really hope the design changes. My god that is one ugly design.

Pachyrhinosaurus

The white one looks a lot like the Jurassic Park /// female velociraptor. I have heard rumors that they'd be returning, retconned as deinonychus.

Now, if we could only get Sam Neill back as Merlin...

JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION---Colin Trevorrow said Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern are returning for prominent roles, not cameos, in DOMINION, "This is the movie that I've been waiting to make from the beginning. It's the one that we have spent the past two movies building to. It really was part of a larger story and part of the design. And I think people may be underestimating the size and importance of Laura Dern and Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum's characters in this movie. It is very much an ensemble, and that [includes] the ability to take these beloved characters from almost 30 years now, and understand how they interact with each other in the context of a world that we've really never seen before, and have not been able to witness until now. It's very exciting for me. I'm having the time of my life."

Brocc21

Lovely to see that the franchise had a planned story from the beginning. Unlike other films...Cough Star Wars sequels Cough
