Another good pose, this time with the Carnotaurus. With its head focused on something to the side while in mid-stride, it kinda looks like it's circling round its intended prey.

Simon,
I received the Carnotaurus and it is fantastic.
The casting is superb. No cleaning up necessary and all pieces fit wonderfully.
Everything was carefully wrapped in bubble plastic, so no breakage what so ever.
Every little tooth, fingers and horns were intact.
Thank you so much for the gift card! That was very kind of you.
I wish you good luck with your sales.  ^-^ ^-^

Ryan Takahashi

Hello Simon
I am planning to go to the Nuremberg Toy show next month. will you have a booth or exhibition there?
Do you have a website?

Lone Trike

R @Ryan Takahashi

Hello Ryan,
many thanks for your interest! ^-^ Sorry, I won´t be at the toy show this year. Maybe a shared booth with other model makers could be possible in the future, but there is nothing planned yet.
Regarding a website, it´s at least planned for this year. Though I´m currently working on other projects, which I want to finish first. Let´s see what this year brings :)
I wish you the best and hope you had a good start into the new year!

It must be fun to see what other people would do with your "creations", so a little peek what I've done with your Carnotaurus for now.

I wanted to see what would happen if one would decide to take "Flesh Eating Bull" literally and took it from there.  ;D
This is still WIP. I haven't decided yet how I'm going to paint the tail.
But so far, this kit was a blast to paint and I just wanted to say thank you again.  8)

I like the color combo Fenestra (as well as the pun on the inspiration).  I'd dirty the white/cream a bit more, but that's just me.

Looks great Fenestra, my compliments!

avatar_Fenestra @Fenestra Fantastic, that´s a super cool idea! Thank you very much for sharing your work. You are right, it´s always fun to see what people do with my model kits.
Looks like you did some resculpt on the head as well. I like it! It looks a bit more bulky, which really fits the overall style of a "meat eating bull".
And I´m happy to hear that you had fun with the kit so far :))

Mamasaurus

Wow, you're kits are absolutely awe inspiring! The amount of detail and life you put into these sculptures is amazing, and I'm particularly fond of the carunkled skin on the Carnotaurus, and the insane amount of detail on the scutes of that gorgeous Borealopelta. :)

For everyone who´s wondering what happend to the Aquilops americanus model kit. It´s basically ready for production, but due to the corona pandemic there are restrictions regarding international shipping services, especially to the US. So I will delay the release of the model kit until the situation resolves (hopefully sooner than later...). It makes no sense for me to release a model when I cannot guarantee successful shipment to certain countries.

Hi everyone, it's been a while. I recently opened my Etsy shop again and my Aquilops model kit is now available. It's on Dans Dinosaurs as well. http://stores.dansdinosaurs.com/aquilops-resin-kit-by-lone-trike-studio/

The kit contains 8 pieces and is 447 mm long. It's 169 Euro and includes tracked, worldwide shipping.

I also have the Aquilops model available as 3d printable STL files that can be downloaded. They are in scale 1:5 and come in 4 different poses.

ceratopsian

Hi avatar_Lone Trike @Lone Trike - good to hear from you after all this time.  I love the 1:1 - but it's just too big.  How long and tall, roughly, are the four smaller 3D printed models, please?  Are you supplying it as printed items, not just as files?

Creature

Oh, that's lovely. My play money is spent for the immediate future, but I'm definitely bookmarking this.

avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian Hi :), the smaller ones are roughly 11 cm in length and about 5 cm tall. They are available as 3d printed items as well.

I've received the Aquilops kit today and wanted to share some pics. Again Simon, you did a wonderful job on the sculpting and casting. I can't praise you enough!  ^-^

It's very hard to take good pictures of a white model with a cheap smartphone, but believe me, the details on this kit are fantastic.
I've added a picture with the Papo Spinosaurus to show the size of Aquilops. The grey lines on the model kit in that picture are caused by my Epoxy clay.

It comes in 8 pieces:

Beautifully sculpted details:

And size wise:

Thank you Simon!  ^-^

Hello everyone! I have a new model available. It's a Dimetrodon in scale 1:20. This time it's not based on a 3d printed model. For good old times sake I had grabbed my Chavant clay and sculpted this traditionally by hand.
The pictures show a resin copy. Damn, this white plastic is really tough to photograph. Anyway the price is 24,99 EUR or about 30 USD I guess. Tracked shipping worldwide included of course ^-^

I made a new casting, this time I tinted the resin slightly. The details are much more visible on this one.
