Good luck with this, hope you make lots of sales.

If only I were a painter, I'd have bought your kits in a heartbeat! Best of luck though!

You don't lose anything with the etsy sale, right? I've been wanting to pick one of these up... this is a good sale and I'd like to take advantage, but I wouldn't feel right if its taking that 15% out of your pocket.

For my next model kit I plan to release a couple of painted versions as well. Though you´ll never no, if you are good in painting until you´ve tried it :))

I do pay the 15% myself. But considering the work time I put into those models, I´m still not in the winning zone anyway. So don´t worry, the more I sell the better! Also it helps me to finance upcoming model kits.

I just don't like the idea of marketing an anniversary/birthday sale, but making the artist take the discount from their bottom line. They could at least wave the service charges for sellers willing to participate...

I waited until it was over to place my order. Excited to get the Ankylosaurus  :D

That´s very kind of you  :) I had some trouble with my internet provider lately (hope you got my message) Otherwise your Ankylosaurus would have been on it´s way by now. But it´s definitely gonna ship tomorrow!
About the Etsy sale! The deal was to get more exposure during the time of the sale, for everyone who participates. And it kind of worked out for me. I managed to sell a couple of model kits last week, which is nice :) Though Etsy wants to raise their charges next month, which is not so nice...

It was a bit mean of Etsy to pass the price reduction to the artist. You took the ethical approach though and I commend you for it.

Hey guys! I just want to inform you, that aside from Etsy my model kits can now be ordered from Dan´s Dinosaurs as well!

avatar_Dan @Dan thank you very much for giving me this opportunity!

I just want to say, your models look Amazeing and now that there avalible on Dans dinosaurs. I can now own some of them.

You said you take suggestions for Species right?

First off, I hope you stick with 1:60 Scale, I think its such a niche scale to work in, and i dont have enough space for biger scale models (from multiple lines). So this might be perfect.

I personally would like to see you attempt to cast a Sauropod of some kind though.    Maybe if you do the Morrison Formation, you can do a Apatosaurus or Brachiosaurus?

Whatever you decide to do, I look forward to your future models in 1:60

Thanks a lot, Takama! I´ve already answered your PM. But since this might be of interest for others as well, I say it here again. I will definitely continue the 1:60 scale models and the Morrison Formation is pretty high on my list for this scale. I think especially Sauropods will do great at this scale, so chances are quite high, that I will do the ones mentioned above in the future!

I want to share with you these wonderful pictures of a copy of my Ankylosaurus painted by avatar_martin garratt @martin garratt. He is one talented artist for sure!

I also want to announce that I will soon add the option for my model kits to be painted by Martin as well!  So everyone, who doesn´t want to spend the time painting themselves or rather wants to let a professional artist do the job, will soon get the opportunity to order a high quality paint-job by one of the best model-painters out there.

Martin has made an excellent job - but he always does!  Anything I had bought from you would be heading straight to Martin anyway - I have no talent to paint models myself.

Dinoreplicas

Great finish on a great model. Love the dark bands running along the osteoderms.

Lone Trike

The option for the painting service by Martin Garratt is now available in my Etsy-shop! I´m quite honored that he deems my models worthy to be painted by him  ^-^
As always feel free to tell me, what you think!

Lone Trike

Hello everyone!
After such a long time in the making (think I´ve started the project sometime in June  ::)), I finally can announce that my new Borealopelta markmitchelli model is available in the shop. Orders can be made either from my Lone Trike Studio shop or at Dan´s Dinosaurs.

To celebrate the release I also offer free shipping until Oct. 10th for this model!

Here are a few pictures of the model (scale 1:20, ca. 27.5 cm along the spine and 20 cm in direct measurement):

Many thanks to all the members of this Forum who were so supportive along the process of creating this model. It was such a great help and much appreciated!!!

Another fine sculpt with your usual gorgeous detailing. Master painters will love it.

Hope it does well on sales, it deserves to.

ceratopsian

I will certainly be ordering mine in the next day or two, when I get more than a couple of moments at my computer!  I'm really glad to see it's ready - I had been thinking about this model recently and wondered how it was progressing.
