Little after it started curing, the resin turned into murky water as had hoped. Still wish it stayed a little green though  ;)

Edit: More details such as ferns might be added if possible, but currently still looking for realistic looking plants currently, thanks everyone!

Nice... did you use a pet dish for a base or made it all by yourself? Real water? I'd add some plants/foliage, but it's really nice, especially how the Cerato's foot grabs the stone and the sculpt of the tree stump.

My wife did this base, so she made it from polymer clay and texture paints. The water is resin with flocking around the tree and in the water. But right now its still curing so there will be more minor details added since alot of it sunk in the little pond. Its supposed to be a humid sort of swampy look to it, thanks for the feedback!

Compliments to you and the lady, it looks natural, which i find hard to achieve in diorama making. And sculpting a tree that well?  O:-)

The base is gorgeous, the water effect looks so realistic.

Mini Minmi

Beautiful base, I love it. The tree is especially nice! And I agree the way the base compliments the feet position is brilliant.

Shonisaurus

Fabulous base Syndicate Bias. It is better than that of the best resin dinosaur companies. You would have to advise companies of collection (resin) and toy (PVC) dinosaurs. You and your wife make a very good team.

PhilSauria

Great base, definitely add more plants, they seem to make all the difference on these things. Currently looking for some sort of water substitute myself, what sort of resin did you use?

Syndicate Bias

Thanks everyone for the amazing feedback and replies!

As for the resin phil, I'll get back with you on that later tonight.
