I do not think this Gold Wolf is your friend Golden Wolf at all, Pam.

Golden Wolf isn't a friend of mine, but my boss know her (not very well to my knowledge, but I think they have exchanged artwork).
If you click on Gold Wolf's name in the DTF blog comments, they link to Golden Wolf's website. I emailed Golden Wolf to let her know someone is posting here using her identity, in case it's not actually her posting (and I hope it isn't!).
My living room smells like old plastic dinosaur toys... Better than air freshener!

Golden Wolf is an AMAZING artist and is friends with my boss, but I'm really curious whether or not the person posting is actually Golden Wolf, or just someone using her name. (Golden Wolf is a she)

Hum... guess I was wrong then...  :-[

Here is something to make your head explode...Tarbosaurus skin impressions from under it's feet and probably it's back show tiny pebbly scales while Gorgosaurus libratus skin impressions were described by Phil Currie (cribbed from Wikipedia word for word here) as "...smooth,lacking the scales found in many other dinosaurs, and similar to the secondarily featherless skin found in large modern birds."
There are also traces of skin from the tail of the same species showing small hexagonal scales.
What if Tarbosaurus was scaly (maybe even completely) while Gorgosaurus was more like it's ancestors in being fluffy much like Yutyrannus? ;D
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

Sorry, your boss's friend (or even acquaintance), rather. I do feel certain it isn't her, at all events. I didn't realise clicking the name led to her website (I hadn't tried), which is more than a little worrying if the poster is... an imposter, as it were.

Traces of skin from the tail of Gorgo, or Tarbo?

Please do!

Done and done! Just sent it to Doctor Admin a few moments ago  :)

Everything about the writing style is consistent with a former (now banned) member of this forum, who has deployed the same 'arguments' in comments on illustrations of feathered dinosaurs before.

Could be! That WOULD make my head explode.
Based on other tyrannosaurs and basal(ish) coelurosaurs, though, I'm willing to bet that that Tarbosaurus skin came from the feet and probably the base of the tail, or around that area. We'll see if it gets published though :P

Ah, sorry about the double post!

Good review for a beatiful figures of a new dinosaur  ^-^. Well done.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

Photos in the recent Carnage Styrac review seem to have the sides clipped off. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, also the safari 2013 photos are all cut off, plus other photos.

Someone posted trollish comments in the blog using the name "Gold Wolf" and linking their name to a website owned by someone else, an artist called Goldenwolf. The real Goldenwolf is a fairly well-known wolf/anthro artist who makes her living off of her art. She probably doesn't appreciate having trolls running around smearing her name by pretending to be her and posting rude and insulting comments online.
