I might have a pop at the Invicta Megalosaurus, but I want to do the Wild Safari Vagaceratops first...

EDIT: Here it is! It's a bit dry, sorry. I'll get drunk before my next one to compensate. http://www.dinotoyblog.com/2012/08/30/vagaceratops-wild-safari-by-safari-ltd/

Dry is good too  :D

After seeing the plain old pose of the new Carnegie Concavenator, I decided to review a figure that had some creativity injected into it, to show that dinosaurs did more than just stand around looking noble. However, I soon discovered that Cordylus already reviewed the figure I had in mind, back in 2009. So instead, I took it upon myself to update that post with some better pictures. I also edited and added to the text, I hope Cordylus doesn't mind:

Here is Yangchuanosaurus (Dinosaurs of China by Safari Ltd)....Updated slightly.

Nice review. Although the folks at the White House may have convinced this dino to take...

"One Hundred Billion Dollars!"

I felt guilty for posting a new entry in this thread when it was just a rehash of an old review. So I've made amends by writing a real new blog entry :P

I really love that Tangchuanosaurus, one of my favorites I must admit. Nice to see the review spruced up a bit. I have figure but not the fossil background unfortunately. I think I might write a review tonight as well, I just need to think of who to write about.

Glad to see the Vagaceratops get some air time. It's a seriously underrated figure!

No new review from me tonight but I'm working on one for the WS Dracorex which I believe is the only 2012 toy from WS left to review. It should be up later this week.

Hah hah I was just prepping my review for submission :o.

Well, DTF  shold we do a double wammy on=one figure?

Gwangi

Well if you have your review finished I would submit it, I've only just started mine. I do have an idea though if Adam approves. Perhaps we could do a joint review or collaboration? You could send it to me and I'll go over it and add my own two cents as well? Maybe compare notes and have us each state our piece in the same review? I dunno. It is getting late and admittedly I am little drunk but it sounds like an idea where we could both win on this and it would also be a DTB first.

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

I've written up two new reviews. One for the Carnegie Caudipteryx and the other for the Safari Field Museum Torosaurus. I actually wrote the Caudipteryx one about a week ago but didn't get around to posting it. Stuck home sick on a rainy day I decided to go for another so now we have two reviews on one day. Enjoy!

Review for the Safari Field Museum Sue tyrannosaurs.
http://www.dinotoyblog.com/2012/10/01/tyrannosaurus-sue-at-the-field-museum-by-safari-ltd/

EDIT: Quick question for other blog authors and whoever else might have an answer. It is acceptable to use the word "tyrannosaurs" as a plural for multiple Tyrannosaurus? Or should I be using Tyrannosauruses'? And if I do use Tyrannosauruses am I supposed to italicize that  like I would for Tyrannosaurus?

I was always confused about the plural thing too. I think "Tyrannosaurus" is the plural for multiple and single animals. Like the noun "deer" with an identical single and plural.

I think you might be right. Upon confirmation I may have to edit my latest review.

Answer: yes. But don't use 'Tyrannosauruses'. It's Tyrannosaurus for the plural too, but tyrannosaurs is acceptable because, well, they ARE tyrannosaurs - as is any other animal in the Tyrannosauroidea (although it's best to distinguish between tyrannosaurids and tyrannosauroids where necessary in context). So, a Tyrannosaurus and two Tarbosaurus met at an international convention for tyrannosaurs.

Thanks Marc, I was hoping you might be one of the people to chime in on this.
