No one appears to have stepped up to the plate yet. Often times I am tempted to resume my role, but then the cries of my two month old son remind me I have more pressing work at hand. Perhaps once he's older and less demanding? Somehow I have my doubts.

Anyway, here's my review of the Chap Mei Mini Anklysaurus:

...And I'm unusually preoccupied with work and life at the moment. I will cast my attention back to the blog eventually, but unfortunately I don't have the capacity just now. Apologies to those waiting for their guest reviews to be posted!

So I finally have the Safari Ltd Deinocheirus, a bit later then I planned to get it, but better late then never. Still safe to say I can do a guest review on it?

I and finished and sent the Deinocheirus review. So I suppose this just leaves the Diplodocus, Parasaurolophus, and Quetzalcoatlus left to be reviewed from the 2017 Safari Ltd figures? I'm planning to pick up the Parasaurolophus, so maybe I can pitch in there as well?

The Diplodocus was already reviewed quite awhile back. The other two are open though.

I was going off the Wild Safari list, and I didn't see the Diplodocus review there, so I thought it had not been done yet. Maybe it should be added to that page like the others?

I'll try to give that Parasaurolophus a review once I can get the figure, though it could be a few weeks of course.

Sometimes people forget to add all their necessary tags to their reviews before they post them. It's why the Carnegie Ankylosaurus isn't on the Carnegie page.

Can't some mod fix it?

Faelrin

Well turns out I won't be getting the Safari Ltd Parasaurolophus anytime soon. I don't want to get into the specifics of why here (it's personal info). Just shoot me a PM if anyone's curious.

Thanks for keeping the review blog alive

QFE :)

... and I want to repeat...

... I'd like to participate more (my review is still stuck in the system), but it seems there's a new guest review editor required.... no substitue at hand? What does it take to do that job? I could be tempted to try if there's confidence I could do so.

Submitted this last review a quarter a year ago now and while I respect the efforts of you, suspy, I'd rather like to see the blog being filled with reviews by several people more as in the past. So.... if the people in charge are willing, I'd do my part for keeping the blog alive.

Sounds fine by me. I find the sight of four reviews in a row written by myself to be rather tedious, frankly. Part of the reason though is that many of the regular reviewers, not to mention our dear admin, are currently busy with RLS (real life stuff). That includes myself. The reviews I've been posting for the past three months were all written back in the summer prior to the arrival of my son. Storing up nuts, if you will. I still have enough to post bi-weekly till the end of the year; beyond that, I cannot say how often I will be able to contribute to the blog.

With the lack of a Editor. I have not felt the drive to write very maney Reviews of well...anything really.

I submitted one review to Dr Admin, and i know its going to take him longer to post it, because it may require some editing :-\

Takam, what is stopping you from editing them yourself? I know this is gonna sound harsh, but why not learn a bit by yourself instead of relying on the Admin? I would start with learning about appropriate use of capitalisation. I'm sure it's easy to find something on Google. You tend to capitalise random words that do not require it.

If you did some of the legwork yourself, I'm sure that would lessen the load on Dr. Smith, which would mean your reviews would be posted much quicker.

I recall you mentioning that you wanted to be a writer one day. Learning proper spelling and grammar is going to help you a lot in pursuit of that goal.

Anyway, it's just a suggestion. I consider you to be a friend and I don't say this to be unkind, but rather as constructive criticism. And to be fair, your spelling has gotten better over the years.

I'd guess what Takama means is an editor as a sort of admin. Sure, editing is important, but for example I myself try to clean up my reviews for mistakes, spelling and stuff, but nevertheless being a guest author - as Takama is aswell afaIk - I need to submit reviews because only a few people are allowed and have access to upload them. Which is basically good and logical, but I think the situation for the past three or four months has shown, that there should be at least one more person regularly availabe to edit and upload reviews. I understand people have real life stuff to do and that has to come first, no problem there, but after all, just a year ago or so there have been reviews on a daily basis... just sayin'.

Gwangi

I wish I could be posting more reviews but I'm in the middle of a big long distance move. Once my life is re-calibrated I'll get back to it but at the moment all of my dinosaurs are packed away, and have been for about 7 months now. I haven't bought anything new because the buying/selling a house process has ended just about all frivolous spending.

The blog activity waxes and wanes, things will pick back up. Hopefully soon on my end.

I do read over my stuff before it gets sent to the editor, and try to make sure things are easy to understand, but i feel like i have a very hard time grasping grammer.

I serve as a review editor for a few scientific journals and would be happy to help Adam, if that's what it takes.
