Nice review! I'm going to put mine on the little display I'm working on. It's an incredibly hard to find figure, and I get vast quantities of new animals in the stores nearby, but the thing about the basic sized animals is that they kind of disappear quickly. If you want it, or know you want, or are a passionate collector and know that you want/need it, grab it. Grab it the moment you see it. And if you're pressed for cash, ask your mum.

Huh, didn't notice this one on my last visit, but I was with a 4-year-old, so it was hard to stand still long enough to notice anything.

Great review! Thanks for adding the alt text to images. These are read out in screen readers and also show up on Mastodon now that the blog is connected to the Fediverse.

No problem. I'll do it to past reviews too if I can. Might take awhile though, over 240 reviews!

I know. To my shame, I never added alt text to my own review images either, so I'm going back through them. But you have many more than me! There's no rush, better late than never.

I've updated my BotM T. rex review to include a surprising bit of information regarding the hand claws! Just scroll down till you get to the closeup images of the arms.

avatar_suspsy @suspsy Thanks for updating your review with that information. TIL. Also the top most claw in that pic looks suspicously similar to the "Dakotaraptor" claw cast I got from backing the Saurian kickstarter. I remember seeing a twitter comment chain that Holtz was involved in, suggesting it was actually a Tyrannosaurus hand claw. I think I definitely see what they mean by that now. The similarity is striking.

One can see a pic of it my Amber Collection review:

Well, the Dakotaraptor thing certainly isn't going to end anytime soon, especially considering that Robert Depalma refuses to allow any other palaeontologists to examine the holotype for some strange, self-destructive reason.
