I'm sure this has been brought up, but it looks like Wild Safari is close to re-doing all of the Carnegie models. Which ones do they have left? I'd rank all as high probability.

Protoceratops
Maiasaura
Deinonychus (this year is it's 50th anniversary...)
Corythosaurus
Plateosaurus
Deltadromeus
Tanystropheus
Albertosaurus
Sinraptor
Beipiaosaurus
Caudipteryx
Dilong
Ichthyosaurus
Miragaia
Concavenator

I think we'll see all of these except maybe the more obscure ones like Deltadromeus peppered into the line over the next few years.

(I'm not including Oviraptor, because following up a Citipati with an Oviraptor would be like following up a Brachiosaurus with a Giraffatitan. Also Saltasaurus is a little too similar to Malawisaurus to be made any time soon).

In my case I would like a Safari tanystropheus without the articulated neck like its predecessor of Carnegie. It is a personal appreciation.

I frankly don't think Safari could improve that much on the feathered dinosaurs, the Miragaia, the Ichthyosaurus, the Concavenator, or the Cryolophosaurus. New versions of Albertosaurus, Corythosaurus, and Deinonychus would be most welcome, however!

I personally also hope that any Tanystropheus they release in the future (hopefully next year) is smaller than the Carnegie version.

Yeah, improving on these is gonna be tough. But I don't think Safari's interest is necessarily improving them, just getting some of these back on the market, especially the ones that had been good sellers but had to be pulled due to the contract ending. They probably never would have retired some of these models if given the choice.

True, but I'd still much prefer to see Safari tackle the older, far weaker Carnegie toys first as opposed to the more recent ones. Although the 2017 Microraptor was admittingly a big improvement over the Carnegie one.

I wish a protoceratops of Safari 2020 is a very dark ceraptoside in the traditional toy market in the American and European markets.

I bet Doug could do a killer Protoceratops. I think the original Carnegie model must have been a poor seller. Supposedly it was retired because those nests were revealed to belong to Oviraptor, but I don't think they'd pull it early and never remake it if it was a strong seller. But you could definitely make a Protoceratops that looks cool.

I found an old Safari post from 2012 talking about how the repainted brown Iguanodon Carnegie sold better than the gray version. Which is surprising to me because I think the color of the gray one looks much nicer. But lo and behold, when they re-made Iguanodon in Wild Safari, what color was it...!

I hope WS eventually releases their own focus wave of feathered dinosaurs like Carnegie did. Include a new Caudipteryx (the old one is beautiful looking but very inaccurate) plus some new things like Sinosauropteryx and Sinornithosaurus. Maybe a Mei long and a Yi qi.

I know that I am very bored but sincerely independent that Safari makes those figures and that we need a mei long and a yi qi (that last dinosaur fascinates me). I want a paraceratherium I need a figure of that damn prehistoric mammal species in the toy market. The modern paraceratherium that I know of classical companies is that of Collecta and is already discontinued. Doug could make a paraceratherium worthy in size and quality.

I'd snap up a Safari Yi or Mei in an instant. Or an Avimimus. There's another feathered dino in need of love.

I would like Safari Ltd to produce any of the following:

Any non-Tyrannosaurus tyrannosaurid (preferably Albertosaurus, Daspletosaurus or Tarbosaurus).

Tyrannosaurus itself, considering how much more we know about it now, though it's probably too soon.

Majungasaurus

Yangchuanosaurus

Sinosauropteryx

Baryonyx

Utahraptor
or Deinonychus

Saltasaurus
or Opisthocoelicaudia

Brachytrachelopan

Mamenchisaurus

Shantungosaurus

Edmontosaurus

Ouranosaurus

Borealopelta

Animantarx

Euoplocephalus

Tuojiangosaurus

Kosmoceratops

Utahceratops

Torosaurus

Protoceratops

Hatzegopteryx

Xiphactinus

Mastodonsaurus

Phorusrhacos

Homotherium

Panthera (leo) spelaea

Paraceratherium

Gigantopithecus

That said, I'd be happy with whatever Safari Ltd puts out  ^-^

Shonisaurus

I would like a gorgosaurus or a deltradromeus by Safari are two obscure carnivorous dinosaurs.

Concavenator

Now that the time is getting close, behold my predictions...

I'm almost certain that we will get a new Brachiosaurus (though they will have a hard time topping the gorgeous Carnegie version)  or Apatosaurus (would love a new one) , and also a new Ichthyosaurus.
I'm also expecting to see a Borealopelta, which would be really nice to see.

Those are my main predictions.Though any species that was in the Carnegie Collection has great posibilities of becoming one of the new releases.

I Would love to have a new Brachiosaurus that is just as big as there Amargasaurus. As well as a larger Apatosaurus as well.

My fingers are crossed for them to make these happen, .

If they can do this, i will buy there Dinosaurs Again

We're nearly a month past the anniversary when Safari first began revealing new merchandise via those samples they sent out. Any word on whether they're doing it this year?

Pachyrhinosaurus

I'd definitely like to see a new one the size of the Carnegie brachiosaurus, as unlikely as that may be. Otherwise the new WS brachiosaurus is one of the best sculpts out there.

My biggest dream right now is that they start to show the new line  :)). Actually it would be an hadrosaur or a dromeosaur. Both of these groups have not been made since 2017. And Safari tends to do great with them, their Gryposaurus and Velociraptor are among the best figures of their respective groups.

suspsy

I'm really hoping we get either Deinonychus or Utahraptor. Or both.

The brachiosaurus by Safari could surpass its Carnegie counterpart, although it is very difficult to overcome it. There is nothing impossible.

I doubt they will.
