Weewarrasaurus and other ornithopods

New paper out reviewing the ornithopods of the Griman Creek formation, including the new genus Weewarrasaurus. It's based on a partial dentary (lower jaw), which is about par for the course for Australian dinosaurs. But at least James Keuther has made some nice art to go with it:



The fossils are also rather pretty, being partially opalized.

I don't think I've ever seen fossils like that except ammonite shells before. Really fascinating. The artwork is nice too. I also couldn't help but giggle at that name though.
