That Carcharodontosaurus looks almost alive :o. Congrats on having it in your collection, which looks really nice!

Killekor

Thanks! Im planning on having it repainted to the stock image you see on my pfp. Hopefully this weekend  ^-^

Almost done with the repaint. 3 hours so far...

It's my first resin kit painting project I'm actually surprised I didn't make it look like one solid paint on top of another. Am happy

avatar_mgaguilar @mgaguilar I think I have achieved my dream dino  :))

Killekor

Excellent work S @Syndicate Bias ! For me the model has really improved with the new paint scheme!

Congrats!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Thanks! avatar_Killekor @Killekor

Its almost done now. It's taken me about 6 hours today to get it to this point now. The paint is less one note but still more shading and blending to do on the head.

I'm starting to get impatient at how long this is taking haha. After that I just gotta do the eyes and it shall be done!

Concavenator

That Carcharodontosaurus looks spectacular

Thanks avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator . It's ok to be honest it's not a great job in my honest opinion. I like harsh criticism and the way I see it it's not bad but it's not perfect either.

This is my last fixes I made to it. The teeth and claws might get a brighter colour not sure yet though. The eyes are bothering me I don't know if I should leave them white or do what. Maybe someone here has a good eye for well..."eyes" lmao

I've decided that my Carcha will stand to terrorise the lil deinonychus clan we got going on here.

I think that you should paint them too. With the unpainted eyes it looks blind, and it makes his "attack" to the Deinonychus trio pretty strange!

In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Bokisaurus

Good job on the painting, love the head, good blending of the colors.
What an interesting figure, body have so much loose skin :))

Definitely paint the eyes, it will make it so much more alive. If it were me, I would go with a color that will compliment the face, maybe a yellow or blue (light)?

Fenestra

You are bold! Spino is just out of the box and you've already put a brush to it!  ;D
I like it.
The Carcharadontosaurus turned out pretty good. The eyes will need a pupil to make it look alive.
I use a tooth pick for small eyes like that.
Just put the small tip in a little bit of paint, lay the statue on its side and aim carefully.
If you fail, you can repaint the eye in a base colour and try again.

brilliant! i shall try that ive been trying to do it with my brush but its still too hard to pull it off.

the spino needs its spikes and bones painted so its fully fleshed out but im close now  ^-^

thank you!

Im looking at my PNSO Amargasaurus right about now for consideration of restoration  ;)

Shonisaurus

You are a complete artist. Syndicate Bias. Your PNSO spinosaurus with this new look comes out more favored.

KeU

I am ashamed that I have never commented on your collection thread before.
So here I am.
Looking at your touched up Essien gave me the encouragement I need to make my own improvements.
Probably will not be as brave as you in terms of the changes. Planning to maybe do a wash to bring out the details.
Will be trying them out today.
Watch out for new pictures.

Cant wait to see it man  ;)

It's no bother so no worries bud after seeing your Giga pics I have decided to try to pull off the original yellow paint scheme that Zhao gave Lucas. I feel alot more comfortable with it after the Carcha and Spino and my in progress Amarga. Hopefully it'll be done by next week.

Ceratosaurus

What kind of paint scheme are you giving the Amargasaurus?

In Progress pictures  ^-^

Painting this one has been hard compared to Essien.

I still need to paint the face to a lighter beige and add blue to it as well as white pupils to Lucio and finish painting the feet and do a dark wash on him at the end.

And repaint all of his spikes its gonna be a field day tomorrow I should be done with Lucio in a matter of 2 to 3 more hours hopefully.

Shonisaurus

I would like to have the expertise that you and other forum members have when it comes to repainting dinosaur figures. I am amazed at its beauty there are no words when commenting that these repainted figures are sublime.

KeU

Wow, it is looking good.
Remember to correct the nail problem too.

What type of paint do you use?
Acrylic?
