QuoteThe Gigantspinosaurus, with a body full of magical weapons, lived in the late Jurassic Sichuan, China. It is like neither the early Stegosauria with bony plates in various shapes nor the later Stegosauria with plates that are largely consistent. The boney plates of the Gigantspinosaurus mostly take a long, triangular shape and are distributed from the top of the neck. Its special characteristic is a pair of enlarged shoulder blades which are even longer than its forelimbs, thus its name. The DAM Museum Series development team added minor adjustments while examining its features, combining with the Inner Mongolia Velociraptor to form a specimen type Collectible Statue that is uniquely China.

I loved the look of this when we saw it at a show a while back and now we can see it in all it's glory i think it looks brilliant!

Love that the Raptor is optional.

Hopefully will go up on Sideshow soon and i'll post links if so.

Yikes, that's frightful. The "Velociraptor" looks like a water dragon crossed with a mayfly nymph, with gills all down its flanks. Never mind that the two animals were separated by more than 80 million years (a Velociraptor in the present is literally less anachronistic than a Velociraptor in Gigantspinosaurus's time).

Yeah the generic "Raptor" is very Schleich-ish .  The Gigantospinosaurus is nice but the base doesn't work with it either.

..and knowing Damtoys' release time, probably it will be available on 2021..  ;)

First thing that came to my mind when seeing the Gigantspinosaurus alone on the base
was that picture of Marilyn Monroe standing over the subway grate.  >:D

Nice find C @CarnotaurusKing .  The meme is now a statue.

Were-raptors.... where's a silver thagomizer when you need one...

The Gigantspinosaurus looks good [solo] though... 'might grab this instead of the Quetz (that I've been on the fence for a long time about).

Silvanusaurus

Blimey there's a Jim Henson puppet on it's back!

Flaffy

Looks really bad. Doesn't help that it's directly copied from a crappy stock photo.

My first thought is that raptor looks like a nudibranch.  But, with a few sequins glued on the naked parts it would have a decent carnival costume.

Been a while since I enjoyed the forum dunking on a bad figure as much as I'm enjoying the current round of dunking.

I'm actually surprised by how much I don't hate this raptor. This would make for a seriously cool alien design or something.

1 version is now up on Sideshow for those who haven't been sick in their mouth and would like to order this. You can order with or without the Raptor and honestly the price is really good.

The Gigantspinosaurus is wonderful! The raptor a bit less... but if wasn't for the high price I'll certainly get the first!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.

Between this and BotM, Centrosaurus is finally getting the exposure it deserves.

That Carnotaurus is impressive! It almost looks alive.
