Don't worry, I have more figures. The rest (about 3/4) of them are a mess on top of my long bookshelf, and I dont feel like arranging them for a picture, unless anybody wants to see them!  ;D

Avian

Thanks avatar_Patrx @Patrx. I've seen other displays that are just too crowded with figures so that they look like a mess. I made sure to include other items and to space the figures out, in order to keep the display light on crowding.

Sincerely, these shelves have left you with a fable. On the other hand the photo credit is relentless.

Avian

Thanks! I took the photo on my phone, which is an android, so it's not the greatest. And because I uploaded it directly off of my phone, the Google Drive requirements are insane.

Just fashioned this rough wire stand for my Safari Quetzalcoatlus. Not sure if its display worthy though...
If anybody knows a way to display flying pterosaurs or swimming aquatics speak now or forever hold your silence... ;D

I was just at Hobby Lobby to buy some paint for a Revell model I've been working on. I happened upon the aisle where they have the animal and dinosaur figures. Lo and behold, two BEAUTIFUL Safari Rexes (that for some reason I dont own already  :P) are perched perfectly in a bin. They were the only Safari figures there, besides an overly priced Cave Dwellers TOOB for $30. So I pick the best looking Rex, which, somehow, has not a single scuff. No price is listed, but I had a 40% off coupon ready to unholster. I was halfway to the register when I realized it was missing every one of its toes. I think I'll save my money for something that has its feet intact.

Also, this reminds me of when I got my Papo Standing Rex for about $5 at a Hobby Lobby. That was a much better experience.

I really like the simplicity and elegance of the display. Many, many times, less is more. IMO there's nothing wrong with keeping the bulk of one's collection boxed, then periodically rotating new ones onto the display area. Keeps things fresh.

Avian

I figured that all of the figures at once would be much too heavy on the eye.

Quite true - this way you can direct the eye and perception of the viewer to a theme of your choosing.

Avian

Whoa, I just realized that I said figure twice in the same sentence, and with two different meanings. Mind blown.

That's a very elegant display, congratulations!
