^ Nice, first time I see that weird grey thing on the right anywhere else! I posted it here some weeks ago.

The upper ones look like some hideous mutant Platypi.

Just because they came with Dinosaurs does not mean they are real critters, as those show:

Does anyone know more about the Centrosaurus/Monoclonius in this auction?
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Dinosaurier/163926549970?hash=item262ac8a5d2:g:TKcAAOSwveNdvBKr

I have one, but can't tell you anything about it. As far as I recall it does not have any texts or imprints that could trace its manufacturer or brand.

I have one of the same shape, but in a totally different colouring. It says "DISGA" at its belly.

Thanks for the info.

Oh man, I remember those. I was such a frustrated child trying to identify them.

Sure, that's perfectly true. Yet I note with dismay that I am no wiser than before.

The two in the front can be found in the Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manual, at least they were there when I played this game in the early-mid 1980s. Not sure which came first, the toy modeled after the book, or the book got the idea from the toy.

Did some snooping around; they are a bulette and a rust monster. See here:

I remember having the "rust bucket" in the late 70s and always wondering what on Earth in was supposed to be. Like the guy in the web-link article, it came in handy as an alien critter for space-men to come across on their travels  :D

Nice link! Turns out I have a lot of those, worth a review? Individually or as a bunch?

Well, let's hope you were not the one who paid that price:
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Funk

Yikes, nope, they've been lying forgotten in various boxes since I was a kid... They weren't exactly my favourites. Some of them seem to be copies of later Marx figures?

Specifically, I have almost all the ones in this bag from that site:

bmathison1972

Yup, as a child in the 70s and early 80s I had these toys too. They usually came in small bags like that in grocery and drug stores. Usually a mix of Marx copies and D&D monsters LOL.

stargatedalek

I think the rust monster itself is also a Marx copy if I'm not mistaken.

B @bmathison1972, thank you for your help. I was aware of those (according to Wikipedia, Gygax was inspired by the toys, rather than the other way around). CityRaptor mentioned those little monster figures by way of illustration, but I was asking about these:

I always thought this was the Schleich Apatosaurus, but I guess it isn't? Anyone know what it is and/or who makes it?

Looks like a bootleg of the Papo Apatosaurus:

avatar_Silvanusaurus @Silvanusaurus That's definitely supposed to be a Microraptor. I'm not sure who makes it, but I've seen it sold under several names on AliExpress and at a gift shop here in the States. The name I've seen most is "Oenux," which is a name I've also seen for a variety of bootlegs. However, as near as I can tell, this isn't a bootleg of any well-known brand. Here's an AliExpress listing for it: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32976296092.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.747e7ab0Hnx4gm&algo_pvid=204007a6-3f6a-49ad-98e8-d50c42247c7e&algo_expid=204007a6-3f6a-49ad-98e8-d50c42247c7e-5&btsid=e298f806-086a-4be9-a090-bfbeec1e6fc6&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3,searchweb201603_55

Oh right, that's interesting. I thought it looked like an unusually artfully detailed sculpt for an unbranded mass produced figure, like a Papo microraptor that never was...
