Dusty dinos from my childhood

So I'm living at home until it is safe and convenient for me to go back to China where I normally live. I had to stop by my storage unit so I decided while I was there to grab my old toys from when I was a kid.  It's mostly Chinasaurs, but if you see anything that you'd like me to review, please let me know.

Very interesting and varied assortment there. If I had to guess some of those anthro/hybrid looking ones were from the Extreme Dinosaurs line? I unfortunately missed out on getting any of those as a kid (though I was aware of them), but I did have some of the similar Street Sharks toys. I'm very curious about the ninja turtles looking Triceratops too. I certainly recognize some Carnegie and older Battat figures there too, and at least the Tyco Deinonychus.

Yep. I thought they were so awesome when I was a kid and looking at them now I like normal looking dinosaur toys so much more. Also, Extreme Dinosaurs was a spinoff of Street Sharks, if I'm not mistaken.

There was a line of cave turtles action figures that Playmates put out circa 1994. The triceratops came with Leonardo as a caveman. If I had all the accessories and knew where Caveman Leo was I might do a review.

Nice! For me the highlight is the green Carnegie T. rex still using the original 1988 mold. Not a super easy to find variant, at least not in good condition.

Just make sure you wash your hands after handling those old Imperial and Larmaie dinos

I learned something too. I played with a lot of the Laramie, Dor Mei, Imperial etc. dinosaurs as a kid. Now my daughter even has a few, guess it's time to cull her collection. That's terrifying.

The "Battats" you're seeing aren't originals, they're knockoffs.

It's the Leptoceratops from the "Tiny Perfect Dinosaur" series. I tried to get some of them a few years ago, but gave up after all attempts ended with only the book and nothing else.

That's a plesiosaur was part of a trio that came with a book that folds out into a diorama thing. I guess you were intended to clip them to the sides of the book or something. If I can find the book I'll review it for sure.

That's too bad. I don't think the series ever got very popular. I think they tried to kick off with lesser known dinosaurs, and it didn't get kids excited enough. If I remember correctly, they started off with a Leptoceratops, then a hadrosaur, and then they finally did Tyrannosaurs.

Mine is missing its back legs, so if you ever see someone auctioning off just the back legs, let me know.

I had them all at one point. Leptoceratops was first, I think Hypacrosaurus or Corythosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus , Stegosaurus and Triceratops,  I want to say there was one more? All I have left now if the Leptoceratops.
